Greetings All,
ok this may not even be the correct place to ask, if so I apologize but... I'm trying to find a "budget" way to get a Medix Figure (well all the build-a-figure designs but... one at a time).
If one were to purchase a CW First aird, and simply apply all the Medix stickers would this alone suffice, or are there some painting that would need to take place? I don't care about the blue translucent weapon or HFG. I just don't feel like paying almst $400 for one of these, when I can possibly make one for a fraction of the cost. Just curious, any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, there is painting involved for getting Medix to look "right".o.supreme wrote:Greetings All,

Considering Packrat was the only one I didn't want (but I'm still keeping him) and the rest were going for around $80 or so on Ebay, this was a steal. And it has not disappointed. I am a bit surprised this set had so many leftovers, but I usually love stuff others don't, so that may be why

Re: Transformers Collectors' Club Exclusives and Subscription Figures
Didn't even know this(TFCC) existed. I only purchased two of their figures(Ramjet and Depthcharge) but man, they were practically for peanuts. And I guess I'm a super dork because I honestly purchased all of the back issues of the newsletter I could find(although the two collected volumes they had were what I would prefer instead of a bunch of loose 16 page issues). I should have fun looking over those. I really wish I had know they existed because that would have been really cool to have been a part of. Even if I didn't pick up all their exclusives.

I got what I wanted, overall. A few slipped through the cracks, but it's no big deal.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

So, I just clicked on the club store. And nothing's showing up for me, product-wise. I think... it's all sold out.

Not that there was much left anyway, mostly just paper-based products. After the 90% discount hit, the only toy items left that lasted to the very end were the Kre-O stand 5-packs, of which I bought two sets to use for my BotCon 2013 and 2014 Kreons since only the 2015 Kreons came with stands.
Still mad that someone made off with all the pre-assembled Blastcharges shortly after the 90% discount hit, as those even had a purchase limit on them.

I found it incredibly convenient that several toys sold out a few days before 90% given that there were tons in stock and an order limit.

The Blastcharges were still in stock the morning of the day that the 90% discount hit. They were gone around the time I saw my email about the 90% that afternoon, which was about 30 minutes after the discount hit.kurthy wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yup. Not gonna lie. That seems a bit... odd. Not 'suspicious', but definitely odd.
