The Star wars equivalent of this teaser is the small photo and box photos released of the MTT from EP1. Scoured the net for more pics, but they don't exist. Lemme find the pic ---

This pleases me in immense and numerous ways. Last time WFC only got a few figures. Sure we'd expect some more big names, but a combiner made with 5 (allegedly unique) deluxe toys?

Is Hasbro really going all in with this aesthetic?
Are they making an honest effort to measure up with the third party mega-sets and upgrades that outclass or fix their work?
CAN they pull it off with their limitations in budget and regulations?

All I can say is DO WANT. The WFC figures were awesome, the right blend of complexity, familiarity and nostalgia. I will be collecting every damn one of these FOC figures!

The sad thing is, With these five, the reveal of Optimus, Jazz, and Shockwave, well, there's our 8 deluxes. No Grimlock. He could be a voyager! Come on, Please? If not, I'll sick the constructicons on you!

We can all hope that Hasbro is preparing some new marketing STUNTS for later this month.

Well it could end up being a so-called "limited release" much like the first editions.

I'm pretty sure the "Scout Class" has been subsumed by the "Cyberverse Commander," though Hasbro could always bring it back.

As for Bruticus i dont care as much for him as a combiner i have the fansproject one he will always be my classics Bruticus but the rest individualy hell yes cant wait to see the rest they have always been on the dream list as deluxe

Unless the foc Onslaught isnt as big or dosent look 100x better than U2.0 Onslaught all i want is the other 4 to display with the U2.0 but of course im still gonna buy every one of them

i hope theres still more reveals to come.

D'oh. Got caught up in my own venom there.

I like the idea. Swindle doesn't look too great, but then I'm mentally comparing him the FansProject one, and they're really not comparable products. I'm sure he'll be fine for the money. Brawl looks ok, and the bit we see of combined mode so far is plenty to get me excited about the prospect of a Hasbro gestalt.

Wowzers, I'm away from the site for all of three hours and this happens?

I was down for whatever FoC bones we were thrown and two of Shockers, thank you very much, but this changes the game. Being in the UK I'm not guaranteed anything outside of the main line at retail, and even then not later waves so BBTS is so doing preorder business on these. To repeat a point though the Hasbro press release did say 8 toys. We've got the Kapow preorders for Prime, Jazz and Shockwave and then the 5 Combaticons. While I was expecting Grimlock and Seekers I can't say I'm that bothered if we don't see them. Pre-Earth dino modes make no sense and we've already had tetrajets with the Titaniums and Cybertron (leader, voyager and legend) so this seems like a better use of the available slots.

Now, this in no way makes up for the obscene amounts I'll be spending on the FE toys(which sticks in the craw, as a European I was expecting to pay through the nose, but not out the ass), but then again I was never one of the folks saying 'no more Hasblo'' even if the setiment was on the back burner, as that's something I'd never of stuck to.

Did I mention, colour me impressed?
