I seriously don't understand their strategy. They let you use it for free, then in a couple years try and shake you down to the tune of a months pay? Seriously, has it ever worked? It might, MIGHT work if they charged 100 bucks, and would almost definitely work if it was less than that. But that is beyond ridiculous and borderline extortion.

Burn made me hip to the idea of starting a Facebook page to host pics. I'ma talk to my sister (she does crazy amounts of Inner-net stuffs for her photography biz) this week and set something up :-?

I had a week's break back in the UK with my partner, as I volunteer at ThoughtBubble Festival (the biggest comics only convention in the UK, happened in Leeds where I first studied at university). Ros came with me, and slept just as little as I did...

We went on a day trip to York!

Then to Haworth, where my grandmother used to have a toy shop 20 years ago (and I suppose the Brontes lived, too)!

And back to Leeds, with Kirkstall Abbey stop:

And then it was con time. At 5 am. On a Saturday.

I was so stupidly busy for two days, but I did meet Jack Lawrence, Brian K. Vaughan, Gerard Way, and met up with loads of great people I haven't seen in a year.

Gorgeous pics, Va'al! It reminds me how much I need to get back and see more of Europe. It's been more than 7 years since I went to Italy -- I've seen enough of China for a lifetime.
