Looks more like an afterthought then something that's been designed with the drill bit in mind from the start.

I guess everyone that cares bought a Quantron because I've seen very little about Afterburner. Got mine in the other day and it's just a stellar toy. Love the multiple configurations for the wheels in bot mode, the easy but satisfying transformation, and the overall aesthetic. If anything I wish they'd have used some more screw covers on the orange parts but that's a minor gripe.

I've enjoyed everything they've put out so far, hopefully Computron gets completed!

Got Turbo yesterday iv'e not had time to transform him but he makes MT effort look pathetic imo .

Looking at him briefly next to some warbotron figures Turbo looks to to be a bigger toy all round taller and bulkier .

Very impressed with the sculpt however the paint apps looked a little shady on mine but i'll have another look later when i transform him .

Dang that's too bad, paint was solid on mine. QC is improved immensely from all the Bruticus members I've gotten so far, where each of them had at least one serious issue and then other mold flash problems. The only thing I can find wrong with Afterburner is that one of the leg slider locks at the knee joint is a little loose, but I think I can fix that just by tightening a screw up.

Anyone know what the extra baggie of parts inside the box was for?

Nope, I'm fine with the proportions myself. Just unfortunate that I can get the rest of these guys for a while due to budget restrictions (TE and the first four Combaticons are waiting for CP to get FA in).

I bought Nosecone today. If not for Tesla, would have grabbed Lightspeed at the same time. Figured I'd space it out though, they're probably a ways off from putting out the last two. Anyhow, I am excited as heck for it. Heck I tell ya.

Or...maybe they have, That one with the stand looks familiar. I have to admit, I've been having a passing interest in these, but only to see pictures. (And thanks for the color pics of Strafe, Arctorro!) They are nicely detailed, but I don't think the designs are as good looking as the MakeToys version. I still love my MT Computron, though I don't think I've ever actually combined them yet....

Strafe looks good in robot mode. His alt mode is a joke though.

Scattershot is pretty suspect too.

I feel like these have been going downhill since Afterburner.

Np, don't remember if the SS pics were posted. The only member of the MT version I liked was Strafe, but I'm now starting to lose interest in this as well (that's ignoring the fact that the combined mode is too small for my collection).

I've got Afterburner ordered with all five WB-01 toys waiting on WB get off their fat arses and ship FA to CP. AB looks to be great, and I like what they have done with Lightspeed, but no elbow swivel on Nosecone, Strafe's alt mode and Scattershot's price are making me think completing this set isn't worth it.
