I have a VPN, but without subs it's useless. I won't assume there's more Earthspark until there's more Earthspark.

On Kingdom:

For my own sanity I'll assume Megatron asked Galvy his name offscreen. Otherwise it falls apart.

I got that the arena exploded and that Elita might have died ... but not that everyone died! Holy crap. That sucks. I just thought we haven't seen them because we have this whole other cast to pay attention to.

Which brings me back to Black Arachnia. It's clear from Beast Wars that they intended her to switch factions in THAt show. But they had a lot more time to work with. Here it's the finale of only six episodes, so I won't grant them the same leeway. From her perspective both Megatrons tried to kill her and Starscream betrayed her. From their perspective she betrayed them and prevented them from achieving their goals. It makes no sense for her to be there!

I thought, at first, that TFTM must have happened somehow. But it can't have. because Megatron follows the golden disc in the past and they remark that it was there that Megatron lost the war. And they say that the Allspark dies at that point in their timeline. So. Where does Unicron fit in?

I also understand what they're going for regarding Nemesis. I just think it's ... lame. All this work on Optimus. And his evil Unicron counterpart is just "Grrraaaaaaahhhhh! I'm a bad guy!" By contrast they gave Galvatron a lot more depth. According to the story he's been helping Unicron oppress a dead Cybertron this entire time (why?)

On the temple of the Allspark - Well, let's be real. It's there because they needed an obstacle. It couldn't be as easy as just landing on Cybertron because then there's no finale. The problem is that it's literally not in Siege. "It shows itself when it chooses to" is the lamest BS in the world. Because it should never WANT to leave Cybertron.

Ah, but, remember, Galvatron was consciously vague about himself in his Earthrise scene, avoiding giving away his name and such. The writers just forgot about (which they seem to do a lot). ;)

"That sucks" is such a perfectly beautiful summary for so many things that happen in this whole show.

"It makes no sense!" is another perfect summary for this show. :P

I feel like we're supposed to think that Unicron showed up at some point after both the AllSpark died and after Megatron killed Optimus TFTM-style in the alternate timeline. Just goes to show how little the writers really thought about it.

These writers' grim n' gritty ideas in a nutshell.

It really is no wonder that Netflix passed on a cartoon based on Legacy as a follow-up to this show when the people who made this show proposed it to them.

At least you have the BEST (admittedly, not a high bar) Netflix-original Transformers cartoon to look forward to next in BotBots.
