I agree, I really find this line interesting. I like the fact that most of them are homage to G1 without beating you over the head with it. It's what G1 would have been if G1 was twenty-plus years later than it actually was.
I'd like to see *real* Classics combiners, not the three-molds-plus-two-repaints Devastator, which itself is really a repaint of an earlier line. Could you imagine a real G1-like Menasor, Superion, Bruticus, or Defensor? But with bots that have articulations and good details a la Starscream or Bumblebee? Even if it's just five Legends-sized bots for limbs and a Voyager-class body, though I'd prefer something slightly larger than Legends, though full-sized Deluxes might be too big...
This line is already my favorite of the lines from which I have bots (G1, Cybertron, Alternators, Titanium, and Movie, along with Classics) and it has the possibility of being HUGE. I've decided to go completionist on it, as well...I ordered a handful of items I really wanted, but the next TF purchases will flesh out the classics line.

I suspect alot of ppl are going to say Classics... although me personally instead of going Classics I would have to say the G1 commemorative series is superior to classics IMO.

G1 all the way...and the movie line. I've been cleaning out all the other toy lines I own to have room for these.

I feel like saying Beast Wars for nostalgia purposes, but currently I've got to go with Alternators.

If the Classics line were bigger, I would easily say that it is my favourite, but really the Beast Wars figures are my favourite, such a large variety of figures, they are fun to play with and transform even today, and they (for the most part) look good.
Cybertron comes in 2nd for it's variety of figures, as well as general overall top quality figures.

Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

My All time favorites hmmmm
well lets see:
1st would be Generation one reissues, they keep making them!! It's hard not to pass them up!! they are the best and brightest of the original generation, and Nostalgia fuels my desire to Own every one of them!!
2Nd would be Beast Wars, it's the whole idea that fascinates me, organics, transformation, and machine's combined! they are the most faithfully represented toys that I have sen in awhile, with the exception of Cybertron ofcourse..
3RD That would be Cyberton series, actually Galaxy Force, which I love above all else..what a great series, and toys ta boot!! It has everything all rolled into one neat and tidy package.
4th the movie line up, what an ingenius way of bringing to life these awesome and uniquely designed figures.. some people have problems with quality control, but I still love them the same..
But my all time favorite series above all else, Masterpiece.. the name says it all!!!

G1/Classics/ ARMADA/Beastwars transmetals
G1/Classics: come on... traditional styling, TV show heros from youth... whats not to love.
Armada: for some reason i had every figure from this line except the small drones. I liked the figures a lot individually, minicons were cool but not yet overdone, and from what I remember it was one of the better megatrons in a while (imo)
BW transmetals: Prime/megs/rampage/optimal/dragon megs/tigerhawk.... man i loved those figures. That was a badass shelf when i had it displayed.
Everyone raves about cybertron... im starting to worry because I have zero toys from that line... damn, this is going to make me buy a bunch of those oversized doofy looking things. argh

Beast Wars Second & Neo, The original molds, Lio Convoy, Galvatron, Magmatron and Big Convoy (not to mention Heinrad, Cohadra et all) are all awesome to me. Though I'm biased, these toys were coming out when I first got the internet, so they were a marvel to me, all exotic and foreign, and more affordable than other Japaneses exclusives like Star Convoy before reissues were so big. I also like what the lines did with Hasbro molds that hadn't been incorporated into the cartoon. It doesn't bother me that the show was silly. I'd love to get my hands on the tenth anniversary Jointron's and make myself some sculpty maracas and guitars.
I love the aesthetics of the Headmaster and Movie era 1st gen transformers. Cybertron is pretty great too.
The alternators/masterpieces however are in a league of their own.
I guess I love everything besides the Beast Machines and Energon, that super link crap was awful. The combinations resulted in terrible single robot modes and terrible combined modes. I'm also not a fan of the movie toys.

Beast Wars and Classics for me,
only thing I never really liked about some BW figures was that some of their leggs were really loose and hard to pose.
Classics is just awesome.
Animated is growing on my and might get up into my favorites.
And if IDW Nova Prime is ever made into a toy, the line it would be in would be my favorite.

I view Classics as a sort of extension of G1, since its the same characters pretty much(especially if you go by that fun publications or whatever it is), I ended up just mixing both G2 and Classics together whenever displaying my figures. So I would have to say those 2 are my favorite, followed by Beast Wars.
The rest of the toy lines are pretty much hit or miss for me, if I think the character looks good i'll pick it up. With Classics I want every figure from the line, it was the same with Beast Wars when it was on tv when I was a teen, unfortunitly I think i've lost all my Beast Wars figures.

"What are you?" That's what the woman asked me. Am I some sort of ghost? I still move. I still breathe. I'm still alive.
