Sorry if this seems pointless, but Somebody on this board posted about the Autobots, or rather the transformers having animal like faces. i.e Ratchet looks like a walrus, Ironhide a bull, etc.
Well, I think that if the Dinobots are in the sequel, than, aside from thier dino modes, thier faces should resemble thier forms.
Take swoop, his face sould have a beak like mouth in robot mode, grimlock could have sharp teeth, and v like nostrals to resemble a t-rex, slag could have a small horn on his nose, etc
Thoughts, what animals should, or ultra magnus resemble to you?
Can't believe we didn't think of this before

As for possible new characters, I definitely agree with you about the Dinobots, though they should keep things subtle. Make them clearly robot heads with dinosaur features, not simply smaller versions of their alt modes.
I think Ultra Magnus's face should resemble Prime's a bit, to reinforce their supposed fraternity. Therefore he should have a more humanoid face. Younger and tougher looking, somewhat between Prime and Ironhide.
Blurr's head could be like an eagle's or falcon's. A cheeta might work too, and they could even combine Blurr's character with Cheetor, if they want to avoid using actual Beastformers.
And Wheelie should resemble a robotic Jar Jar, just for laughs =D

I don't know if you saw that Starscream's face looks like a bird. In fact, his body looks like a bird - small legs, big shoulders.

If they did something like Don Fig did with War Within Grimlock's face (rows of teeth on his mouthguard) that would be pretty cool. However they've already made it clear they don't want to follow any previous Transformers design aesthetics in favor of the spindily inside out overly complex many moving parts look.
