Let me begin by saying the movie was in my opinion, amazing. I'm not the most avid transformer fan alive, but it certainly was entertaining and I think Bay did a great job. Now on to the point.

I can't help but feel a massive sense of curiosity regarding one of the trailers before the actual movie. The trailer where there is a party going on, but is interrupted by an earthquake and a loud roar. Later they see the head of the statue of liberty come hurtling bye and some other massive destruction.

I've discussed what it could possibly be, and none of us are really certain. Rumor mills say that no new Godzilla flicks are going to be made anytime soon. My best guess was perhaps it was some teaser trailer for the live action evangelion movie supposidly in the works. Although the scenery in the teaser doesn't exactly scream neo-Tokyo, but I am hopeful.

I'm just curious if anyone has any solid information regarding the teaser or perhaps any thoughts about what the teaser could be for.

I just posted about the same thing. It looked good whatever it was. Bad Robot Productions is attached but I have searched and found nothing.

I agree, it did seem like it could be good, whatever it was. I'll keep an eye on the Bad Robot Productions in the next couple days and see if someone claims the trailer.

It is alsom done by JJ Abrams. So its a scifi movie. And it should be good if its done by him.

Yeah Godzilla was my first guess as well Sigma, but IMDB only lists a Godzilla 3-D slated of '09 that hasnt even entered production yet
