Topics get bumped here pretty fast, so if there is another "I found Cliffjumper and Ramjet" thread somewhere, I apologies. I found them at Target, 3 days ago on 2/20/07.

I love the classics line, but the quality is coming up a little short. It seems Hasbro's taking some short-cuts just to get these figures out of the way for the crappy movie toys. Both of my figures from this wave had huge quality/paint issues. First my Ramjet's head/cone had a huge paint smudge that I didn't notice through the package. Then Cliffjumper's face wasn't completely paint (I didn't see this because he is package in vehicle mode). I am a collector, and I like my figures to be without flaws. Way for Hasbro to crap all over a good toyline with a lot of potential and lasting power. The characters from G1 have remained popular for the past 23 years outlasting G2, RID, Armada, and Energon. Will the movie characters be even remembered next year? I can see the classics line being around until every G1 character is remade into the classics line.

Hasbro did it with Star Wars, this toyline lasted until they were able to produced every single character from all six movies, including every single creature from Cantina, and a George Lucas figure.

Please put some effort back into the classics line. This toy line has the potential to extent the Transformer's line through the next couple of year. If they don't realize this then, at least, let Takara take it over.

They made the Giant Mantis puppet Figure for SW?

I saw Cliffjumper and Ramjet a week ago at Wal-Mart, passed on the Ramjet because I don't want to start collecting the Classics, but I couldn't pass up the chance to add Cliffjumper to my Alts. Not a big fan of the painted over headlights or the plastic red head but its nothing big. As its been mentioned before, I kinda wish they'd atleast changed the head out. Still, considering what they did with the Alts [the true collectors line] this doesn't surprise me.

Same here I didnt not want to start collecting the classic line but in contrary I could not pass the seekers. So in one trip I was able to get all the seekers plus Jetfire and AstroTrain. Now there is something I couldn't figure out: Magnus + Skywarp package is only $19.99 but Optimus Prime alone is $19.99 which makes no sense considering Magnus and Prime are the same mold (diff color). Any chance Prime and Meg will come out as a value pack soon ? (not the war within one)

But anyway, repaints are a different ball of wax. Sometimes they cost the same, or in some cases a bit more. In this case, it's like paying the same price for a repainted Prime, but you also get a repainted deluxe for free. That is quite an exclusive value pack.

I doubt Prime and Megs would be sold together in a pack. MAYBE as a value of BOBOF pack...but not as an exclusive.
