Nope, not this time. There was a fatal error last night (this morning) around 4:30am. I've been having a lot of problems with the forum database tables so it was either the forums would be done for a couple of weeks while I try to piece the forums back together or I remove the corrupt files and start the forums over again so that the community can continue.

I just spoke to Ryan on the phone and he said post like normal.
Life will go on.

It was either start over like this OR not post for 2 to 3 weeks.

Nothing else seems to have gone wrong with the HMW tables, so play on.

strangely, i just tried to Pm a member who is listed as being on the forum, but when i hit 'post' the reply said 'member unknown'

it was Deadboy, incidentally...

PM system's still on the fritz. I think it's trying to access values on a table that doesn't exist anymore, hence why no one exists when you try to PM them.

Yup. I'm pretty sure everyone who had a custom title is currently sporting their default post-based one. They're still there in the DB, they just haven't all been linked back up yet.

wouldn't the login in working right the first time be part of making everything work? not trying to be a jerk, just trying to understand the general frame of mind
