OG Rodimus was legs hanging off the back of a car cab, that looks more like Kup to me.

While all the redeco variants are great for army building and adding to the mass produced mythos of G1. It would be cool if you could do something with a full set. For example, if the 19 named Seekers could combine into a massive starship. Since the varying numbers of each set would make combining into a Gestalt infeasible.

Maybe not as a Titan, but all the main combiners definitely need a redo like they did for Menasor in Legacy. A Commander torso that have all the combining bits and 4 deluxes to make the limbs. They could cheat it by making half of each vehicle modes as a "trailer" that are made of the combiner skeleton.

But for the whole crew to be made, it would take decades at this rate.

YES! That would be amazing. Although Id be happy with them doing what they did with the Stunticons for the Aerialbots.

They mentioned a while ago (last year?) that they intended to do more combiners, but with it not happening by Legacy United I wonder if they're planning another Combiner Wars like series that they're saving them for?

I would want the limbs to be voyagers to scale with the Seekers. If a leader Silverbolt is too small to support the weight of voyager-sized arms, make him a Commander. A Concorde is a huge jet anyways.

In contrast, I think the Mandarin Duck would make a good Predacon. Considering Fliers were more a Pred thing than a Maximal one.

That came to me as when I first watched Season Two with my brother, back when it aired. He asked me how they got away with making Cheetor look like a Voltron Cat?

It's actually very easy to turn TM Cheetor into a "leg" already. I used to do it all the time, it's as simple as moving the legs and back of the cheetah into "backpack mode" and moving the rest of the head and neck up, then just readjust everything to make it stable. His hips sort of become like a knee with the cheetah rear legs forming part of the upper leg.

I'm pretty sure engineering the toys would be much, much, MUCH easier to do than securing the license.

But if they can manage it, I would really love to see all the limbs cats be voyagers and the torso as a leader. Their prices would be expensive as balls for sure, like leader price for the voyagers and commander price for the leader. At least all the accessories should be included. Each would then be sold 4 to 6 months appart, one by one.

Also, solid ratchets everywhere for the combined bot.
Man, the whole thing could be EPIC.
