I'd rank Cybertron Prime higher and RID 2000 Prime lower. RID 2000's super mode is a bit unstable for me, although that's probably due to age catching up with it. But even with that, it's still top-heavy and frustrating to pose.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Eh, that Masterpiece toy shows exactly where that line has gone wrong IMOHO — prioritizing cartoon accuracy above detail and finish quality. Honestly, I think the G1 Inferno is better looking in both modes than the masterpiece, even if it is a brick.
The Universe Inferno mold is indeed a great figure, and often under-rated.

I have a special fondness for Sentinel Prime because I work at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and we actually have one of the real firetrucks from the movie (we even got to keep the Autobot emblem on it). I really want to add him to my collection.
I also think Combiner Wars inferno deserves an honorable mention. It's a really great looking toy, both firetruck and robot. Also his Combiner mode is nice too. But I think he really shines in his scorpion mode. Haha
Now this is pretty darn special!
I too am still salty about that Sentinel twist. That's pretty much why i sold of my voyager Sentinel, not very good and the character irks me. One of only 2 figures I have ever sold too
I don't know the whole truth of the matter, but when Optimus offered the Matrix and Sentinel didn't take it, to me that just shows there was a different movie in the works. Sentinel was supposed to be a good guy and they got Leonard Nimoy to voice him, and who in the world would believe Nimoy would voice an evil Transformer? (Wink wink) Ah you got me venting. I need to go find him so I can add him to my collection and pretend he was a good guy that sacrificed himself to save Optimus and there was no twist of him being a bad guy.
Ha, ha! You guys are trying to make sense out of a Bayformers movie!

At least with MP Inferno we had the option of how toon accurate we wanted it with the different fronts. And unlike Sunstreaker, Bee and Prime every part of the chest was the same kibble we see in alt mode. It could have had more finish, I cant argue that, but it still had a lot going for it in terms of it being a toy everyone could enjoy with elements of both the toon and a real life vehicle.

It's perfectly possible to make sense of them, aside from some stupid choices made in Bungledbee.
The way I see it, Sentinel Prime's refusal of the Matrix is a combination of guilt and not knowing what's going on. He doesn't realize that the secret deal and plan he made with Megatron are still on until Sam unwittingly clues him in during the chase.
And why exactly are people so salty over him turning out to be an "ends justify the means" extremist sort of villain? It's hardly unprecedented for Sentinel Primes. IDW (2005-2018) Sentinel Prime was the same way only worse, and without any sign he was once a good bot. Animated Sentinel Prime has that mentality (though to a lesser degree) as acting Magnus, mixed with being a bungler, manchild, and overall jerk.

I'd bump RiD Prime to #1 for personal reasons (literally got me back into the series after about a decade away!) but I also just freaking love its design regardless. Add in that he has regular, super, and Omega Prime modes and the thing had the kid in me freaking out.
I'd also give Cybertron Prime extra points for the absurdity of being able to turn into a FLYING fire engine!
I'd also take out the MP mold and elevate Smolder to the regular list, if only so the cons get some representation (no, Sentinel doesn't really count for that!)
I'd take Sentinel out anyway, nothing against it, just I don't have a lick of experience with the full sized mamma jamma, just one of the smaller cyberverse versions, Anyway, I'd put either g1 Hot Spot or TR Hot Spot in there. g1, I appreciated that he incorporated Defensor's head right into the toy, so unlike most Scramble Cityers you couldn't lose it, TR of course has 30 years or so of improved engineering on his side but none of them had losable heads that time around.
I'd probably put Energon Inferno in as a honorable mention, too. Good figure, but some nitpicky flaws keep him from doing better.

But is there one that can teach you the difference between Titans Return and Combiner Wars?

Also. the integrated combiner heads in Combiner Wars were a burden on everybody who didn't use the Hot Spot/Onslaught mold. The Silverbolt mold suffered the worst for it.
Taking Leader-class Sentinel Prime out just because you have no experience with him seems a bit dodgy.

I read it as him making his own list using mine as a starter point.
I am very curious about what you mean with the burden about intergrating combiner heads. Sounds interesting but I dont see the burden, I thought the silverbolt mode was the best of the torsos.

Well, Silverbolt's torso mode may be the best once he's actually in it, but there's that matter of how the head can break off when trying to get him there. You know, that thing that was kind of a much-noted issue with CW Silverbolt? That would be why I said it hit him the worst.
Also, integrating the combiner heads limited how big they could be and Superion and Menasor have somewhat dinky heads as a result. The integrated heads (and the integrated kibble in general) also burden the other modes, since it means that the space the head is stashed in can't be used for anything else and the armor becomes clutter.

Honestly, I dont remember that being a big issue affecting multiple copies, unlike something like MP BW Meg's crotch. Still sucks for those it happened to of course.

Yeah, first I've heard of this as well. I consider Silverbolt one of the best (regular line) figures in the last 30 years.

Yeah, honestly the Silverbolt mold is pretty top-tier IMO. Great robot mode, nice combined mode and about as good a vehicle mode as a gestalt torso is ever going to get from something as flat and thin as a Concorde. The best use of the mold IMO being Scattershot, where the chunky alt mode works even better.
To be honest, the problems of CW largely came from not having enough mass/budget in the first place along with a bit of a lack of refinement, rather than any side effects of integrated combiner bits. Certainly I didn't see any issues with head size. The biggest downfall with the torsos came from the hips due to the ratchets just not being man enough for the job sometimes, or in the case of Menasor and Volcanicus just being really badly designed.
