Okay. TF1 was written by two guys: Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. TF2 was written by those guys and a new guy, Ehren Kruger. After that disaster, isn't there anyone who thinks it's a bad idea to have TF3 be written entirely by Ehren Kruger?
I used to be certain TF3 would tank, but then I realized that TF2 was written at least partially during the Writer's Strike. So blame that on the Writer's Strike if you want, and say TF3 might be okay. I still think the whole Ehren Kriger thing is a bad idea. And either way, there is clearly someone with considerable creative control over both TF sequels who either cares very little for the Transformers mythology, or cares very much about making us fans go

By the way, I know the second movie in the Bay Trilogy isn't spposed to be called Transformers 2, "because [that] sounds stupid," according to Roberto Orci. Well, I don't have to tell you why I call it that anyway.
