There are a couple of things about this figure that may be the root of it's massive price, such as rubber wheels, translucent plastic, and diecast parts. Two of which are not found on FP toys.
Still, it's kinda small compared Warbot Defender. And I think that translucent plastic stand that comes with it is a completely unnecessary addition that just raises the price higher than what most people are willing to spend.
While on the subject of the stand... Am I the only one who thinks it looks, odd?
Oh, and the diecast knees and rubber wheels are bound to wear down over time.

Looks good I want one !!! And if Im not lucky enough to get this one, maybe this figures existance will increase the other version's availability and decrease its price. Hopefully I can pick up one or the other next year at Botcon. I just havent been able to get my hands wet in mail ordering stuff yet.

It took the Quints years to drop in price. I wouldn't expect a price drop to happen in a signifigan amount for a long time.

I'm sure they had a hand in it though. They probably helped produce the item for the designer. I'm sure they're involved in some capacity.

Igear is a third party company, they have an online store to sell their wears. They also sell products that they don't manufacture in house, including but not limited to hasbro's botcon exclusives, Partner Products' PP01 leader series, and now this delicate warrior.
As a company, Igear has great customer service, Partner Products is the company responsible for PP01 and Igear shouldn't be crucified for selling them to fans myself included, who want them. If the price is too high, don't by them.
On topic, I preordered 2 of these Arcees today.

Not impressed with the proportions / wheel placement based on the side shot in vehicle mode. Seems off. The rest of it looks really good though. For the price, a mega pass for me, especially since my son already has Animated Arcee. Get the quality up and the price down, build some of the other bots on the back of the box, then maybe we'll talk...

The more I think about it, the more I realize I'd rather have this figure instead of Valkyrie. However, the vehicle mode proportions are off on this one, especially the wheels. They're just too big. And it's still out of my price range regardless. Get rid of the ugly stand, drop the price by $20-$30, and I'd consider it.
Sucks that I just spent so much on an inferior toy.

You used to could cancel any items at anytime from your POL, but BBTS had stuff sitting in their warehouse for more than 6months and even a year for people that just let their POL sit there. They lose money... so a few months ago they changed their policy to 15 days.... I wish they would as least change it to a month, but I understand why they did it...
Also... they claim that if you don't ship your loot within 180 days, they will automatically ship it for you... I usually ship my POL's around every 3 months anyway

This looks to be a lot more solid than the Valkyrie version. I like that the arms and guns seem to be bigger as well. But honestly, the "appearence" that the figure is less back heavy sells it to me. Videos of Valkyrie made it seem near impossible to pose. This figure seems to have less of a problem. My biggest con is the head sculpt on this one. Whats with the huge holes in the side of her head? Throw the Valkyrie head sculpt on this figure and it's pure win.

BBTS is known by many, but not all. eBay reaches a much, much larger number of people, and there are quite a few people who aren't in the know.
The seller should be ashamed of themselves for robbing someone blind like that, but it's not really baffling.
