The LED in the final version is RED. The eyes themselves are clear green, but the light inside is red unfortunately. More pics can be seen by clicking on the image below.

I got mine in the mail this weekend, they eyes are really light green, almost clear eyes. And a bright RED led bulb.

I finally received mine and I'm ready to switch out the red LED for a green or clear one.

Has anyone done this yet? If so, do you have pictures or links or advice?

I have a Radio Shack near me, so I will get their advice on which LED to use. All that's needed is a soldering iron, small screwdriver, and the LED.

Changing Unicron's eyes

I had my friend Paul King at Defiant Model Creations replace the LED with a green one, but it was still lackluster. He convinced me to let him put in two LED's, one for each eye, and now he looks much more sinister. Light bleed was a concern I had, and he took care of that as well. He also converted the button on his head into a slider switch for "always on" operation of the eyes. None of that blinking crap.
