pressed button : honk*honk
took out the left battery (op's left, in truck mode) no *honk*honk* anymore.
put left battery back
pressed button: honk*honk
took out the right battery .. no honk honk

so both battery's are needed for honk*honk and automorph light and sound show..
actually.. the cap for the battery feels like it's going to break when you try to get it off.. though the notches that connect it to prime are quite firm.. so they can have some force.
hey, thanks for taking the time to do that and clearing that one up. i haven't gotten to the idea of opening up the battery packs on my prime yet (i guess i'm just too lazy to hahaha...)
neliz wrote:the paint app. is BAD on prime.. the top of my smokestacks (before they become rubbery) is still red while the metallic paint (which doesn't match with the gray plastic) covers part of my cab so..I'm getting a bit of a mixed feeling now.. also the part that becomes his lower arm is clearly made out of a different type of plastic or covered in a non-metallic paint because there's quite a lot of color variation in truck mode.. which is emphasized even more when unpainted parts of gray show up as a dividing line between the various colors..
yeah, i noticed that too. i especially didn't like the way the smokestacks are handled...why couldn't they have done it with grey plastic instead eh?
but generally (though we are getting a wee bit off topic here) the paint apps for the movie figs SUCK big time. it looks to me that they rushed painting the figs so that they can put it out on the market quickly. have you guys noticed that starting with Classics, hasbro's painting became less consistent?

Actually.. €57 on the first, €43 on the second one
i dunno how does that compute into our currency, but it seems like you paid a lot.

I'd much rather manually move panels around on my Ironhide's leg (which I have to anyway because pushing on the foot to get it to turn back into the bed doesn't always work) it it mean there'd be an ankle joint. Blackout's chopper mode looks awful because of the middle of the nose pointing up and the body not closing properly. And classic Camaro Bumblebee's springloaded nose has given a lot of us hell.
uhm,.. don't ya mean automorph?

true.dat on ironhide though, kinda like 08 BB, they sacrificed ankle movement for automorph tech.
