Beast Wars Bonecrusher/ Bighorn?

Postby Dispensor » Thu Sep 20, 2007 9:53 pm

I'm on BBTS right now and I see that Bighorn, what looks to be a pretty decent figure, is going for only $13. Is this a good deal? I was going to get a Microman Acroyear Acrovoltech for about the same price. Does anyone have Bighorn or Bonecrusher?

I have Bonecrusher, and I love his beast mode. Very cool black/silver buffalo, though I'm not really big on his robot mode. His head is huge and elongated since the entire thing is a missile launcher. Without the missile in his mouth, he looks kinda goofy.

^^^ Imagine that but a lot more stiff. Still, he's a buffalo and that's awesome enough

Do you know of a decent Bonecrusher or Bighorn gallery?

Can't say I do. I could snap a few pics of mine tomorrow night (if I can find the thing) and post them here, or would that be too late?

Well this sucks. I just dug through all my old toy bins I could think of, but no Bonecrusher. I'll have another go at it tomorrow, but no guarantees :-(

I have him, but no missile. Unfotunately, the digital camera I have is my parents and they are on vacation now with it. I can garauntee you pictures of Beast Wars Bonecrusher by Monday evening, if that's a good time frame for you.

Well, right now I'm trying to decide whether to get Bighorn from BBTS, Quickstrike from BBTS, or Classics Hot Rod from Hasbro for around $13 including shipping. But yeah, I wouldn't mind. I'd appreciate it either way.

thanks DeathNoble! good pics, i finally have the chance to see Bonecrusher on the sides, there aren't pix of that view online and this is the first time for me to see him like that...so that's how his head looks like. is he good man? isn't he back heavy and all? 8)

He leans forward horribly. Also, due to age, his joints are super-loose on mine. I couldn't give him a decent, unbiased opinion with that in mind. If you can't see in the pictures, I've got a clear rubber band holding him together in buffalo mode. I'd say... He's worth retail price. No more, really.

i don't see the rubberband LOL...but maybe i'm still just too sleepy, haha. but thanks for the opinion, it counts! i have the opportunity to get him at a discounted price loose, and these are the pics i'm looking for to see if he's worth getting or not. 8)

Thanks for the pics, man. I really appreciate it. I don't think I'll be buying it. Japanese version or not, that longass alien head is inexcusable. If only it folded onto his back.

Okay, letting everyone know that I decided on Quickstrike. I would have gotten Classics Rodimus from Hasbrotoyshop, but I don't trust them and Rodimus isn't as appealing to me.
