Hi all,

As I've mentioned here before, the main reason I ordered an international membership was to get Runabout / Runamuck - (my favourite duo as a kid!) and SG Drift (the botcon offering, Ultra Magnus aside, has left me decidedly cold this year so far)

I so wanted Punch / Counterpunch, but have not even able to snag him at a reaonable price on the secondary market.

On, to my question, however - can anyon make educated guesses as to when these two might be up for order? I have checked and TFCC and Funpub have said they'd like to get Botcon attending/ non-attending registration out of the way - Are the preorders going to start before End of Jan as promised, or are they likely to slip? (I'd prefer to get paid at month end first

Also, when these figs are released, do you have to purchase and ship them seperately, or altogether? The international shipping per item is quite steep, imo.

Last, but not least - how much do they normally cost? Sure they vary from year to year, would $60 be a likely price?

For SG Drift and Runmuck, they will be in the store, so I guess you can add both to cart, and check out, like you normally would on an online store. They would most probably ship together.

As for prices, im not too sure... I think they rage from 50-70. Animated cheetor is still in the store for $52, and Dion is on clearence at $25.

I made a post on the club board about everything thing hitting at once (with everything finances being hit hard with Botcon reg, hotel reservations hitting for Botcon, especially after xmas), and they said that they will most likely move the club exclusive order back to Feb. It was supposed to be in January.

And if I remember correctly, they should be shipping the exclusives together. But the club freebie ships separately.

As Prime Evil mentions above, it seems the pre-orders for Runamuck and Drift have been moved back to February. And yeah, the international shipping they charge seems slightly excessive.
Still, shipping for the freebie was included in the (international) membership price, so at least those costs are behind us. And if ordered together, Drift and Runamuck should ship together too.

$60 initial price seems pretty steep, in my opinion: TFCC Side Burn sold for $32 directly from the Club store, when it became available, although this was overstock of what was originally the 2010/2011 Club freebie, and did not come in a box packaging as Runamuck and Drift will do. Due to fan demand I'm guessing the Club will order a lot more Runamucks / Drifts from the factory, which will hopefully push down unit-price a bit. I hope we'll be looking at somewhere between $40 - $50 a piece.

Screw the price, I'm just hoping for a situation that doesn't require me to order in the very first hour or miss out on Runamuck like happened to so many people last year with G2 Ramjet.

Seriously, I am going to be fuming if I can't get Runamuck. I wouldn't have purchased a membership this year if I couldn't get them both. I would rather have none than just one of those two.

I know that sounds dumb, but that's the way it is.

Yup, the international shipping is a bitch, I get a bunch of stuff by using the Order Stacking at TF Source for the same price from the US, so there's definitely huge markup there.

The cost of the international membership is hard enough to swallow (plus, I joined too late to get Sideburn) - but at least if I can't get RB, there's no point renewing for the free fig - one really is pointless without the other. (Why not have them as a set?)

Fingers crossed these are delayed 'til the end of the month - and they definitely better have enough stock...

The other exclusives may be subsidizing the freebie.

Plus the freebie is made in greater numbers, one for each member plus loads more for those that join too late and want to buy it.
Also the freebie mostly serves as a way of baiting you into joining the club, hoping that you'll drop extra cash by buying from their store.

One would think 90% would be interested in both the freebie and the pairing exclusive this year...so will that one be $40 instead of $60 then?

That's why I didn't even bother with membership this year. Didn't want to go through the possibility of ragequit when I got the Run freebie without the buyable Run figure.
