Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

I talked to one of my former co-workers there, and he said that they get maybe two cases every two weeks.
I found Ninja Snake Eyes, Stormshadow 2, and hooded CC, but it seems Flint and tyhe Cobra Officer are hard to come by. my guess is Cobra Grunts will fly off the shelves because some wanna build up a Cobra army for $5 a fig. Not so sure why it's so hard to find Flint other than the fact he's the only one to have one variant period. Cobra Officer is more a semi-repaint of the Cobra Soldier soon to be available in singles.
What's Flint's variant? I'm interested!
And didn't Snake-Eyes v2 have a variant, a differently-coloured Timber?
I was afraid I didn't word it out right. I mean't he's the only one in the singles not to have a second figure like the other four. As for Snakeeyes if he has another variant involving Timber, I haven't noticed.

Snake Eyes v2 does have a variant (black timber), but what is this Flint variation you speak of. I own 3, one open one for my MISP collection, and one to sell at a con next Sunday.

Nah, it doesn't surprise me about 2 more SE's. Overkill.
I still like the Dark Ninja, even though it looks nothing like GI Joe.
Curious to see a pic of Crime Boss Destro. Other than that, pass.
The Cobra Commander looks ok but he and Flint I need to see up close before I decide. I'm pissed that I never got the Snake Eyes with the Kurgan sword. Man that guy looked cool.

Guy's got more clothes than Barbie. Ah well, Sigma six is a little too anime for my liking anyway.
Well, I bit the bullet and preordered some carded Cobra grunts from BBTS yesterday. And after my fruitless journey to six different stores, I've pretty much given up on finding these guys in stores.

Anybody else order the 'Tanks For The Memories" club set?
I just did it today... Female cobra troopers for the win!

Is the Hot-Rod figure out yet? Hard to believe that a convention set based on mostly repaints is still of a better quality than the 25th anniversary figures. It's a shame; for the price they're charging they should have included a tank.

I agree a nice blue tank would be awesome. Don't they usually offer some exclusive vehicle too. I seem to recall a Blue Moray some time back.
But no, I'm not buying the Convention set. The original series is over for me.

I normally don't buy the Joe convention exclusives either, but damn, female cobra troops may change my mind on this. That is just too cool.
Picked up a second Joe 5-pack the other day to keep sealed.

Either Toyfare or Lee's had a picture of S6 Crime Boss Destro, not sure, I read both yesterday.
Couldn't pass on female cobra troops.

I've just gone ahead and preordered the whole lot from BBTS. After store upon store of empty pegs, I've given up looking.

We had wave 1 for about a day and like wave 4 of the Star Wars figures I haven't seen anymore
So I picked up the 12" retro GI Joe from Walmart today and I got to tell you I haven't seen this figure since I was a kid
Its the Land Adventurer with the beard
As a kid to me it was huge but funny how small he seems now
How fast I gave up on this line when the Star Wars figures hit around 1978,1979

anyone know anywhere in the UK to order these? sometimes I think I'm the only JOE/Action Force fan in the country.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I just snagged wave two at Walmart this morning (I’m in NC). A few things:
-Beach Head rocks
-I am not as excited about Serpentor once I saw him in person, but he is pretty damn big though, really tall. The artwork on the card is pretty hokey, too.
-Why does the Cobra Trooper have a silver logo instead of a red one?
-Why is it so hard to find minty cards? Most I have seen are warped, bent, or creased. It makes it awefully tough to have a MOC collection.
All in all, I kind of like wave one better. Just wanted to let you guys know they have hit the east coast.

I heard Wave 2 was out. If 2 is not better than 1, what does the future hold for the joe line???
Dang it.

Isn't that the case with all toy lines. They put the most popular characters out first then the supporting cast later on.

I'd rather have supporting characters than multiple versions of the same 3 primary characters.
I just think wave two is kind of a dud wave. It just doesn't impress me as much in person as it did online.
Wave three though? Man, I can't wait for that one. I don't see how that wave could be less than impressive in person.

Yeah, Firefly is the big winner for me there. I can't wait. I may have to buy like 10 of them just cause I think it would look good on the wall together pinned up in card.

Ya know what always bothered me about Firefly? Here he was a explosives expert and he never came with any. I mean come on, give him a grenade launcher or a land mine once in awhile; enough with the Sub-Machine gun.
Also this weekend in the magazine USA Weekend they have a story on the 25th anniversary of the RAH line.

Went to Target this morning. No 25th Joes at all. I asked someone working there about them, and they said that the collectors line up at the door at 8am and buy them up. I asked if Target could just get more of them in so there wouldn't be a problem... I don't remember his answer because it was BS anyway. Oh well!

OOOH.. Time to start Joe hunting again...
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
