PSA warning about Flamewar and Fireglide.
According to a few reports on Discord, using Fireglide in axe mode may cause Flamewar's fists to crack, as seen in this photo (not mine) due to stress caused by the axe handle being a tad too big and/or Flamewar's fist holes being a tad too small:
Crossbow mode seems to be okay, though, from those who've reported about this.

I wonder how common that is? The one I've opened currently has the axe in her hand and it seems fine, isn't that tight. I would have thought it would crack along the finger detail instead of at random.
Both Transformers Shattered Glass Flamewar and Slicer have been getting into fans' hands and we've gotten some reviews from our community about them. If ever you didn't get yours and wonder if they are worth it, maybe these can help.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:The Shattered Glass Slicer figure is excellent. The color scheme and possibly new weapons make me appreciate the mold more. The included repaint of Fasttrack as Exo Suit is a really nice touch. What isn't a nice touch is the price. There's no deal here and that's disappointing, especially when it's apparent Hasbro is saving quite a bit on the packaging. For as much as I like this set, I can only recommend it for those who are completing the Shattered Glass line or are die-hard Slicer fans.

Maybe some of these girls simply have tighter grips than others.

SG Slicer encorperating the weapons that homaged his original Botcon character (Energon Downshift) was a great move. Agreed that he was too pricey, but I'm still happy I got him.
I never gave Flamewar her axe, because I find it too ungainly for her. I gave her an old renderform gun and thankfully her hand's not complaining at all.

Hola every one.. since its been awhile since i posted anything in the main forum here, this is a good spot to start. thought i'd share my version of Action Master Slicer's "Buggy" tank-mode that i made using the new Exo-suit that came with SG Slicer
I have no complaints about the plastic free packaging, but it's funny to me that one deluxe figure is carefully tied to the cardboard insert, and the other one is just balled up in tissue paper.

Love the colors on both of them.
It legitimately weirded me out at first wondering how two deluxes could fit into one box until I saw the big wad of tissue paper underneath!

Thanks for the review, Chuckdawg! As always, it's YouTubers like your good self that are the real heart and soul of the TF fandom. I especially like it when you show us the boxes and mention interesting stories (sometimes) about where you bought the TFs from and any challenges you've had finding them. The hunt is part of the appeal of toy collecting!
You are truly a "coffee bean" TF YouTuber!
And as for Slicer...
I think a certain British chap summed him up rather nicely...

Great pics, cheers!
The lack of cr@pple-damage on Magnus is over of the reasons I like this version, plus the "rare" feeling of the Diaclone characters has it's appeal for me.

Did you order Iron Man too?
BFG Iron Man? Yes, no charge yet

It only just occurred to me, but is the reason that Shattered Glass Laserbeak and Ravage use the Siege molds instead of the Earthrise molds because of the whole "Walmart owns the Earthrise Soundwave mold rights" thing and they weren't altered like Shattered Glass Soundwave?
Shattered Glass Soundwave can use the Earthrise mold because he has a different head, but because they weren't retooling any parts for Laserbeak and Ravage, they couldn't use the Earthrise molds?

It's probably more likely that the Siege molds make more sense for the series's Cybertron setting.

But it's been established and seen that they've been to Earth and back in this continuity. A lot of the Autobots, as well as Soundwave and Flamewar, even use Earth modes.
So I got SG Soundwave today, and while I'm very excited to have him, there are implications in the comic that make me hyped up for something else. Especially on the last page.

Haven't read the comic yet but omw!
Patiently waiting for an updated TF:A-inspired quadruple-changing Shockwave in the generations toyline

I SHOULD clarify that the Comic very ends on a note of "Well, that might be all you get to see for this story," which is in-line with IDW not writing the Comics anymore.
BUT it also leaves JUST enough of a teaser for a significant loose end that someone else could pick up the story. Kind of like when a show writes a "Final" episode because it's been cancelled, but would still be able to pick up where things left off if given the chance.

Opened up Soundwave and crew last night, he is real nice. this is my first experience with the ER mold, and it's pretty nice so far. The headsculpt is also really cool with the bandana

It seriously impressed me that they actually bothered to "tie-off" the bandana on the back of his head and not just do a loop around it. And they did a real good job of making it look like fabric instead of plastic.
Also, it's not in the instructions, but Soundwave's forearms actually have 4 tiny divots that are made to slot in the ends of Laserbeak's feet, so you can have the bird perch nicely!

Laserbeak doesn't peg in on the left arm of my copy, could just be mine though.
