I remember the first time when I saw TFs on the aisles of a toy store. Having started a little late, they had already moved past Wave 1 so in stock were the Dinobots, Deluxe Insecticon, Soundwave and the Cassettes. Got Chop Shop and hooked

Confounded. Why did all the movie toys go to Shropshire?

I hardly remember 1984. I was three.
But I know what you all mean.
Few transformers are as satisfying to transform as Voyager SS. The G1 counterpart is also very fun to transform. Just different. Like comparing a 1963 Ferrari to a 2007 Ferrari.
A lot has changed in a few decades.
If I had Voyager SS when I was growing up, I would be the envy of the school yard. I might have even gotten beaten up or killed for him...
Good times...

Yup, at target and at trus near me I was in the door line waiting to get in for them.
It was pretty cool.

Seriously, I want my hands on Leader Class Prime and Megatron NOW. Alas, I don't have the $60+ it would cost.
But I'm not getting Deluxe '08 Bumblebee. I'm holding out for Ultimate Bumblebee, the gigantic one, with the sounds, and the transformation so complex it would make you puke.

You don't have $60+ (it is closer to $80 FYI) for two figures but your going to hold off on a $10 figure for an $90 figure? I am floored by that line of logic.
I think much of the hate for ultimate BB is many expected so much more from him than what we are getting. Considering his price and what he can do I think it is a fair trade. But there are things that even the $10 figure does a bit better. Surely they could have made the $90 figure at least as pretty.
