I'll take issue with your last point as well. Only the person who is going to do the buying can decide if something is worth buying, we can't do it for him. There are enough reviews of Overcharge out there for someone to find out about him. As I said earlier, it comes down to whether Skywarp-2 likes the toy, and if he can afford it. I don't really see what other people's opinions have to do with it. The fact I like or dislike something doesn't mean he will.

That's your opinion and that's fine but I disagree with it. The point of forums is so you can get interactive feedback. You can't get that with some review from some guy's website. Maybe he wants to know how good the figure is based on more than its looks. Like maybe he wants to know if the feet are weak and causes the figure to fall a lot, etc. And maybe he can afford the figure but he wants to know if the quality of the figure is worth the price.

I find that title misleading because the toy-line is not mentioned and also the use of the word "releases" (present tense). The title of this thread does not imply any new releases so I expected that the person was talking about the previous release.

The purpose of this thread was not to show the link. The original poster states in the last line of his post for people's opinions on the figure because he is thinking of buying it. I think it's a completely valid post.

you hit the nail on the head, I found out that e-hobby has it, I never knew about I, and I want to know what people thought, because I want to buy it.. I never put in the title that it was new news, just that it looked nice.. so is it a worth while effort to try to find a way to by it? Also a couple of posts down I'm trying to find out if there's a way to order from e-Hobby as well.. if you need me to change the title I will, but I thought it was self explainitory, if people got the wrong impression it's their own doing.. the title clearly states...

Wow!! (as in I'm astonished and surprised) e-Hobby Japan's Exclusive repaint of G-1 Blitzwing, AKA Overcharge!! (this states who and what I'm talking about... and) NicE!! (Says how I feel about it..) I put nothing in there about it being "New" or "New Releases" or anything about that, even in my first post.. it was simply a statement..but for the older guys, I would like to compromise and say that I could have worded it better so there was no confusion... I'm here to find out how to get it and it's quality, and not battle wits...

I don't understand what thoughts they could have. It is Blitzwing, just in a different color. If you have Blitzwing I don't think I would assk peoples opinion, because it is like asking people "What's my favorite color?". A less misleading topic would have been "What do you think of Oercharge (G1 Blitzwing repaint)?"

I had Blitzwing years ago when I was a kid, I didn't nor do I have a reissue of him, so I really don't remember what he's like or if the quality of the Overcharge from e-hobby is worth it.... I'm not sure If there is a reissue of him out there, but this guy is pretty inexpensive, and apparently as someone said he's in classic Diaclone colors.. So I'm not sure if going through the trouble of bothering someone who speaks Japanese to order it for me is worth it, until I get feedback from the rest of the crew here in the fandom....

My point of comment in this thread was that I went to read it thinking a new version of overcharge was coming out or they were reissuing him again. So your title confused me as well as others.

Any decent review will address the sort of points you raise. The reviews on here, on Cliffbee, BWTF, etc are all pretty in depth and cover pros and cons. If people aren't going to give any sign they've read them, what's the point of reviews? And if people are going to post every time they're thinking of buying a figure, then the forum will soon be full of people saying "Should I buy Leader Optimus Prime?"

I appreciate that people don't want to waste their money on naff products, but would it really kill people to spend twenty minutes with Google before starting another "Should I buy x?" thread?

Is Overcharge worth the purchase?

Yes.

Blitzwing is one of the more fun and innovative G1 toys. Articulation is lame, but the alt modes are great.

Why bother with this guy then? Truth be told, his sticker sheet.

You get to assign the faction to him, really even give him a story to go along with it too.

Overcharge comes with Autobot, Decepticon, EDF, Unicron, and some other faction symbols.

Is he good? bad? a double agent?

It depends what you do with him.

Once you have it, buy Overcharge. Diaclone colors and make your own background story FTW!!!

If I backed up an opinion with facts then it wouldn't be an opinion. It would be a fact. I don't think you understand what opinion means. An opinion is something that can't be backed up by facts. Here's the definition for you.

Your statement, "In my opinion, all black people are criminals," is logically incorrect. That is a statement of fact, not opinion. Either all black are criminals or they are not. Your statement must then be that you are, "uncertain whether all black people are criminals," if you are unsure. Since I know black people who are not criminals, I can state that I know for a fact that not all black people are criminals.
