Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

waaaaghlord wrote:Let's see if I can help out a little on this one. A quick look through some of my books turned up these, I know that there's a decent breakdown of the Nemesis from issue 8 of MTMTE as well, but I don't have that to hand at the moment. Sorry for the quality of these pics, but without a scanner this is about the best that I can manage.
Arc specifications from the Ultimate Guide.
Various ships of the Marvel comic continuity from the 1990 UK Annual.
Now may be a really good or a really bad time for these though. Among the few things that we know about Animated so far we know that the Ark an Nemesis (in their Animated guises at least) are going to feature in the new series. Now this next bit is speculation only but so far we havn't seen anything from the new line bigger than a voyager. Take that along with hasbro saying at Botcon that they were looking at making larger toys for this line 'playsets' and it's not unlikely that a toy version of the Ark, the Nemesis or both is too far off. Of course we don't know what differences in design we're likely to see compared to the G1 versions and anything that Hasbro puts out will be more of a toy than a model but it could potentially mean either competition or legal complications down the line.

Dead Metal wrote:Don't know about the Axelon, it's not my kind of ship, I kinda prefear those spiky and boulky ones like the Nemesis and the Junkion ships.
But hey why not, I'm shure she'll be interesting for the fans of Armada.
stsausser wrote:I would definitly buy both. From looking at their catalog they make some great looking stuff and should do both ships their justice.

yeah, I'm was just trying to show that there are lots of ships out there in the Transformers Universe that are actually pretty nice looking and should get their day in plastic..
But as it stands, I'm just looking forward to seeing the Ark and Nemesis being produced first.. I'd just like to have those 2 ships in about a 10 inch scale on my desk at work, with a superb Paint application by one of my friends..
I wonder if Ravenstar does do the Ark and Nemesis, if Jin saotome will be buying one and rigging it with his signature LED lights and such...??? It'd sure be interesting to see what he does with one of those models given his reputation and flare for painting and customizing...stsausser wrote:I would definitly buy both. Thanks for the support..yeah..2.5 Miles long.. miles...miles... Geez!!! that freaking Nemesis is Huge!!!!
No wonder why megatron was such a badass, his spaceship was the bomb diggity!!!

Oh Damn Jin making one?!
That would look awesome and would make a killing on ebay!
Yea that is just huge, but in proprtinon I think Darth Vader does Megatron Justice with his "privet" ship.

Ravenstar studios does excellent work.I was always wondering when The Transformers would get their day in the Space ship markets. Very cool idea.
I do have a question for waaaghlord though, in that picture from the book, you have a large sized Ark, and then below a smaller picture of a bunch of ships with one called the Autobot Ark? What is the difference? And also which design do you prefer?

thanks for your support!!I would say, for me, that I prefer the cartoon design and the cutaway that is on the first page.... done through deviant art...that one is pretty sweet...
But I like the giant one in waaaaghlord's book in the center.. it's pretty cool too..but If I had to choose just one design for me to have as a model.. I'd say the original.. the nemesis, has not really had any variations.. it's pretty much a "set in stone" kinda design.. I think that having that design would be the best thing for my Masterpiece collection...

I think they should make the boxy version. Judging by the cutaway designs, It seems larger then the Original version or the cutaway you have on the 1st page.

skywarp-2 wrote:actually that might be a little too involved for a "part time" Production of those models of the ships.. Or it might drive the price up high.. so let's just stick to the actual models being done for now..maybe if these models gather steam, Hasbro will take a second look at spaceships and playsets..or Takara Tomy may decide its high time to do a perfect model of the Ark and Nemesis..and we can get those features..
either way, this is the first step into a great new transformers Frontier..
Thanks For the Support Counterpunch!!!also thanks to Saberspark model H., and Dead Metal
