The Megs is from IDW, specifically the Megatron Origins miniseries. You're right it doesn't quit fit with the others but it is IDW.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.

They're all IDW bodies. Though Bee's was originally designed for the WFC/FOC video games, the IDW comics took the design and currently use it for their version of Bumblebee.

Optimus: IDW 2009-Present
Bee: IDW RID (based on WFC/FOC Bee)
Starscream: Unused Guido Guidi IDW Seeker design (only Thundercracker used it)
Megatron: IDW "Megatron Origin"

I think he does :lol: Bug Fighting in Japan is usually done between either Stag or Rhinoceros Beetles (which happens to be a popular paring in pop culture if I may add), and Chop Shop (as well as Shrapnel/Sharpshot) is a Stag.

I think I'll wait to preorder Starscream & Waspinator. As indicated by my signature (at the time of this post), the Generations Triplechangers, Blaster & Steeljaw, and this KO Optimus I've got my eye on are my primary goals for the next few months.

Well it may be just me, that that Megatron and starscream seems abit out of place when you put all the ledgends on Metroplex. I wanted some form of "same timeline" for all of them. But oh well. (Yes, I know that metroplex is the classics one and not a FOC design") :lol:

Troop building chop shops? I might, if I find a whole bunch of them loose. :lol:
