What Masterpiece Figure Would You NEVER Buy?
- Motto: "If I win again I'm still the champion. If you win HAH! that's just impossible.
Weapon: tea cup."
It's the future.
At some point in time you discovered that you're immortal and perpetually healthy. You've made some sound long-term investments and money will never be an issue. The Masterpiece line has continued to develop and grow and eventually the whole robot cast of Generation 1 (both comic and cartoon) has been recreated perfectly.
Note: you may wish to consider that larger figures like city formers have made on a smaller scale and came with scores of amazingly articulated but simplified Seerkers, OPs, Megs etc.
After all this, which Masterpiece figure would you never ever buy and why?

Most of them?
The list of ones I would get is actually pretty small, so the list of ones I wouldn't get would be pretty large.

I'd like to get a Rodimus Convoy but the horror stories on him(especially that of gavinfuzzy) keeps on puting me on the fence.
Technically speaking, due to the price, I don't buy doubles so I just own the following:
1.MP-01
2.MP-05
3.MP-08
4.MP-10
6.Hasbro Starscream
Soundwave is a sure buy for me (d@mn you Soundwave) because if given the opportunity would like to take a shot on Lambor.

Re: What Masterpiece Figure Would You NEVER Buy?
Most considerations I have when not purchasing something come down to budgetary or aesthetic reasons. The masterpieces are so well-designed that I find it hard to conceive of many that wouldn't be appealing to me, as long as money were generally not an object (which I'm assuming would be the case of immortal me). Even a MP Wheelie, Daniel, or Sweep #3 would seem justified if budget weren't an issue.
But I don't think I'll ever be able to get behind MP versions of the Bayverse film characters. The aesthetic for these is so truly revolting, that I find it hard to enjoy most of them. Nevertheless, I have a near-complete set of figures from the films thus far, so immortal me might want to keep that streak going. But I think it will take quite some convincing to buy an MP movie Bumblebee, under any circumstance.

Re: What Masterpiece Figure Would You NEVER Buy?
This is a difficult one! If indeed I had all the money in the world, and the whole G1 cast had made it to the MP level, I can't think of a single character I would not want to add to my collection. I have no attachment to anything outside the G1 world, but since we are talking about G1, perhaps some of the human characters, if they were packaged separately, and didn't form any particular binary bonding function. Man, that does have me stumped. I would probably not bother with G2 re-colours.

Re: What Masterpiece Figure Would You NEVER Buy?
Are we assuming the MP line is still G1-only? I don't collect certain characters simply because I'm not interested in them or they're just repaints I don't care about. Soundblaster for example. But once in awhile a really great toy comes along that makes me change my mind.
If MPs were to expand beyond G1, I probably wouldn't buy many, if any. Some Universes I have no interest in (Armada, Beast Wars), and most just don't need MP caliber toys.

Zebop
edit: just realised you said "robot cast" of the toon and comics.
Hmm...Any of them that came packaged with Zebop? Especially if it was Blaster and he had sound clips from that episode, in case it was one of those features that never stopped going off accidentally.

assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Re: What Masterpiece Figure Would You NEVER Buy?
Bumblebee, most of the G1 season 1 Autobots.
I never liked Hound, Hoist, Inferno, Ironhide, Ratchet, Wheeljack etc. etc. They generally kinda bored me and I've got Classics representations of several of them and feel no need for an MP of them.
Megatron if they never do a new mold of him. I passed on MP Megs and as time goes on and I see it more and hear more about it, the more comfortable I am with that decision (I really really want one, just not THAT one).
Kup, I definitely don't need an MP Kup. Wheelie, Springer (though if done well as an MP triplechanger I might be persuaded to change my mind on him, but triplechanger Decepticons would be bought first).
As one poster remarked above, there are more that I wouldn't buy than I would buy so narrowing it down is tough.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

There's not a single one I wouldn't get.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

the original BW toys are mostly in-scale with MPs anyway.

If money was no object and I could get perfect renditions of all Transformers, I would buy them all.
Watch the first of my youtube series, Friends Transform.

Screw that noise! If I had forever and near infinite resources, I'd build fully functional Transformers! The correct vehicles that transform into the correct robots with the ability to control them. Well, I guess that would technically make it Diaclone...

Yep, it pretty much is, at least for the deluxe size Beast Wars figures. In fact, the primary reason I collect MP's is to have the Autobots and Decepticons in stasis to represent how they were in the Ark in Season 2 of Beast Wars. In fact, I burned/mutilated an MP-01 (cheap orange Hasbro version) head and swapped it onto a beautiful red, full size smokestack having Takara version to represent Prime after BW Megatron blasted him in the face.
I have Starscream leaning up against a shelf in a semi-seated position like he was on the show. Now I basically just need Soundwave to have him laying down flat, a Thundercracker to do the same and then a Megatron (though I want a new Megatron mold first) to have him sitting against a shelf as he was when BW Megatron took his spark.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

That one surprised me!
If I had the money then even I would start buying the repaints so I don't think there are any TFs I wouldn't want.

With unlimited resources, I can't think of a single reason not to complete the whole line.
Though I might pass on Roddy, due to all the engineering issues with the thing.

Yeah, if money were no object I'd get them all, and I understand this topic is focused on the MP line being G1 characters, but I wouldn't really want MPs of non-G1 characters. Or the humans, if that were ever to materialize.

Man, I'm totally having visions of 6-foot tall city-formers turning into sprawling city-scapes, hordes of two-inch micromasters, crazy pose-able pretender shells, this is the sort of thing I need to win the lottery and immediately commission.
