Why do Classics have to be so darn cool!?!

I recieved my first Classics TF's today, the Ultra Magnus/Skywarp two-pack. I've been holding off on this line so I can finish Binaltech but I'm a huge Skywarp fan so I bought it. And now I have to say these are two of the best looking Transformers I've ever seen. Great robot and alt modes, transformations that don't require an engineering degree and great posability.

Classics is also one of the few lines where every bot looks great in robot mode. I usually end up keeping most of my TF's in alt mode because I like it better but these guys have excellent robot sculpts.

I hate to say it but now I think I'm going to have to track down more of these figures!

I know exactly how you feel. I recovered from a long hiatus of Transformers, and when I came back my main focus was the movie toys. But after what I read from 20th Anniversary Prime, and more about the classics line, I went into classics mode too. When I went to Puerto Rico actually I bought Grimlock there, and just the other day I bought a Rodimus, so they are a wonderfull part of the line.

Man Lanzajr, you are lucky for getting the Battle for Autobot city 2 pack. Right now along with Starscream and 20 Anny. prime, thats my most wanted right now. Hope you have fun with it!
Anybody got an extra Battle 2 pack? :?

I love Classics. Great sculpts, great bot mode and alt modes. I mean is there really anything to complain about...well other than the ugly coloring of Megatron?

lol.

I knew the Classics were off the hook when they first came out. That's why I have every figure from the mainline. They look absolutely awsome including the Botcon set to finish the seekers!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Bumblebee! He's by far my favorite of the line. No Classics collection is complete without one of the Bumblebee mold Classics Transformers!

ya im a new transformers collector, but i only been collecting the Classics and Alternator lines. i have a few of the classics and they are really cool, a refreshing approch to bring g1 characters new molds. right now i have jetfire, mirage, cliffjumper, ramjet, astrotrain, and grimlock. hopefully one day i'll buy optimus, megatron, rodimus, and starscream. i know optimus is still on hasbro site, but the other ones i havent seen around anymore. =[ i really wanted a rodimus...

well when classics 2.0 comes out, im gonna try to get as many as i can =P

if u guys went to a store and found it completely stocked with classics, and lets say there was a law that allowed to purchase only one, which one would that be?

I think jetfire is the coolest. He has a helmet, plus all those guns, and transformation modes.

ya i like jetfire, he has a cool mode, has thoses removable armor parts and such. he reminds me of the veritech from robotech (probably what the creator was modeling from).

if there was another one, i like rodimus, just cuz hes my one of my fave. characters and he looks like his real mode. =]

The Classics line, IMO, is the best thing to happen to TF in a long time. They all look so great in both modes. My favourite though has to be Bumblebee, followed by Prime and Mirage. Bumblebee just looks so damn great in both modes! And so poseable! The TRU near me is still stocked with a bunch of classics, but most of them two-packs with a Classic I need grouped with a Classic I have.

Can't wait for the new 2.0 line up! Hope we get a proper Magnus and Superion!!
