WTF happend to all the deluxe figures
It is really amazing today I want to both target and tru to try to find a couple of deluxe figure but man was transformer isle at both stores a ghost town. Mean granted at least target had most of voyager classes figures. But neather store had deluxe or leader class figures. It is really kind of scary. It makes me wonder what will happen when the new animated series is released. I really thought people were joking about not being able to find deluxe bubblebee or arcee but it isn't a joke at all.

Are you looking to buy? Did you catch my post about KOHLs? I live down here in Renton, about 30 mi south of you. Funny part I drove 30 mi north to the KOHLs maybe...what 5 minutes from Lynnwood. Anyway, they have butt loads of movie toys...if you are looking to buy.

It's no joke man. For the past two weeks I've been checking 5 Targets, 2 Walmarts, 1 TRU & 1 Kmart regularly, most stores have nothing but pegs, only Deluxes I spotted were Scorponok, Brawl & Wreckage. Sad ain't it?

And the crappy thing is you can't afford to check for a few days straight and not check the next day, because you know that that just might be the day they restock, and if you're not there the day they restock, you're s*** out of luck.

A friend and I drove up and down the entire west coast of Washington, from one end to the other, checking three Targets, two K-Marts, two Wal-Marts, a Fred Meyer, and a Toys 'R' Us, and nothin' but Wreckages and protoforms. I did get Bumblebee and Barricade Movie Replicas in one K-Mart, but other than that, nothing. That was over fifty bucks in gas, wasted!

Some of the store displays are looking terrible of late. Nothing there below a beautiful full transformers billboard movie ad. Makes me wanna

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

I feel for you flame, over here at more densed Southern Cal, I was able to cover 4 Targets, 1 Walmart, 1 Kmart, 1 TRU, 1 Kohl's in a trip about 25 miles total. Time spent making stops and hit the stores makes me happy, gas money isn't big deal, but seeing empty shelves and countless pegs always rips my heart.

There are literally 9 leader class megatrons at my wal-mart, I counted them. No leader optimus. They've been there for over 2 weeks now.

Why not spend the fifty on overpriced ebay offerings instead?
Got half of my movies toys from Amazon. All at regular Hasbro prices.

I was just at the local Wal*Mart every peg for deluxes was empty. They had shelves of Leader Optimus Prime, real gear, and Optimash Prime (potato); along with 1 Voyager Ratchet.
Last weekend TRU didn't have any deluxes either. They did have an overstock of Voyager Starscream.

My walmart had nothing too, everything else but deluxe figures. I did notice they have the new real gears and also the older real gears in Two-packs for $11.99.
I also saw though they had restocking sheet attached to the aisle for transformers and it shows LOTS of deluxe figures. I think they are planning for a restock or rearranging the aisle.

in one of the target refresh threads, someone posted something about deluxes being delayed until october.... not sure if its true but the dude who posted it seemed like he worked at target, so im sure he knew a thing or two about shipments. maybe a problem during manufacturing? or maybe hasbro actually took the time to improve paint application and to fix all of the figures problems? who knows what the heck is hasbro's problem and who knows whats taking them so long
.

well the refresh happened in my local store and there is only one peg for deluxes and the rest is now real gear figures, so I'm guessing the rumor about no deluxes until october may be true. If that is the case we better get the 08 BB in that mix as well since it was never released here at all.

All sold out, hard to find and very rare, that what they say on E-bay. And That's true.
I lived in Montreal Canada, while I was in Plattsburg and Burlington in vacation I went to every toys stores and every shelves were empty. I coutinued the search and It took 7 Walmart, 2 kb toys, 1 kmart, 5 toysrus, 3 Zellers 1 week of my time and close to 60$ of gas. It paid off but that was hard. I was about to give-up, but in the last Walmart they had about 10 08 bumblebee, so I jump on the occasion and bought the best ones, because the paint on some are really terrible.

I just got back from walmart and since I saw the paper out last week...today they had rearranged the pegs and left a space of about 5ft wide for Transformers figures...I saw the price cards for Deluxes, Robot Replicas etc. They even had the Megatron Voyager figure.

Nothing much here, the deluxe pegs are all empty, at Walmart all they basically have is Unleashed Bumblebee, some Real Gears, and Voice Changer Optimus. It's times like these that I wish we have a Hasbro rep on this forum, just to tell us what's going on.

Sorry for the double post, but since we're talking about the Deluxes here, I'd rather post my question here. At Amazon.com they have Deluxe '08 Bumblebee for about $70. Now, I want this toy, it's all I need to complete my collection, but, is it worth it to pay that much for BB?
