Especially because Springer is not really a sports car...

I find the Cloud line interesting in a Marvel Ultimates universe or Alternity sort of way. But, in no way a G1/Classics/Generations way...

1986 & 30th Springer's toys have a off road armored car vehicle design. The 30th toy even has those sculpted huge off road tires on it. So it's not really a fitting Sports car mode for generations Rodimus.

That 30th Springer robot mode looks like it was designed specifically for Springer. I see no hints of it looking like a Acceptable Generations Rodimus robot sculpt.

It clearly was designed to be the IDW Roche Springer. I love it!

And this is making me want to get a Protector. Again. I had 1, didn't like it, so I sold it.

Protector is too blocky, I hate the face sculpt, my RTS Hot Rod' arm always falls off. We need an update, IDW is cool, if the tone it down with the spikes that would be more preferable. G1 is most preferable.

I don't even care about a trailer, he will be in bot mode for me...

I love Classics Hot Rod, the Protector upgrade, and Masterpiece Rodimus Prime. What I really really want is a MP Hot Rod that's just Hot Rod. Just turns into a car and is in scale with Sideswipe and Prowl. If they ever get around to MP Blurr, Kup, and Arcee, I want a Hot Rod that doesn't tower over them.

I have seriously considered making one out of the KO Sideswipe but every time I start to make a custom anymore I get 90% of the way done and they announce they're making the real thing and all my time and money were wasted.
