Doubtful. That dosen't mean somebody somehwere won't make custom heads, though.Auto Bot wrote:Can Hasbro make a new head of Classic Cliffjumper, and sell it as a separate item? Just like the MP Prime Trailer sold separately for those who bought MP-01.
I would gladly but it!

The Tanks name is Devestator in the movie; it says so right on the screen, this is no mistake in so much as anything was a mistake in the film. You're kidding yourself to think that Bay or the writers cared about what that name represents. Hasbro called the toy Brawl to appease the collectors.
"It is a bit tiresome to watch all the supposed script leaks on Don Murphy's site. There has been a lot of chatter about character names and what 'things' may be called in the script. I'm going to let everyone in on a little secret. Something that the writer's don't know, nor my crew, or Steven Speilberg, or the president's of Paramount or Dreamworks. Not even Don Murphy who is not involved on the day to day with this movie. Many of the names in the script are aliases. The only people that know the real names of many of these characters are the COO of Hasbro, their corporate lawyer and myself. I think this is two less people that knew the secret recipe for coca-cola. On my directing contract I had to sign all these non disclosure agreements just on this character name point. These names will not be revealed until the toy boxes are printed. The writer's had to construct the script where no actor needed to verbally refer to a character by name other then the main few. So rest assured AKA DEVASTATOR, is really not DEVASTATOR.

Um....this is not right. It actually was a mistake in the film, & has been admitted by the film crew. It was in the news several months ago that early on they were using code names for the various TFs in the movie basically so that fans wouldn't actually know what was going on about which TFs were being put into the movie untill it was too late to b*tch about it. The code name for Brawl was Devastator, just as Blackout was Vortex, Frenzy was Soundbyte, etc.

yeah, a lot of stores do that. Their employees are told to keep the shelves full, so when new product they're not supposed to put out yet comes in, they are often uninformed of the fact, & just start putting them out like they would any new product. Back when Armada was still in the stores I managed to snag a Powerlinx Optimus Prime 3 months or so before it was due to be released, because they just happened to get some & didn't know to wait. IIRC Wal-Mart got in some pretty deep sh*t over that.BLIX007 wrote:Auto Bot wrote:I hope the new CLassics 2.0 toys come out sooner.
They probably will. When the classics were origonally announced it was for a November release but I actually saw them at Wal-Mart a month and a half prior to the release date.
