That would be awesome but there's no news about it.

Either Sam isn't to scale, or he's a Hobbit. They made the figure too small.
That's OK, though, because the human figure turns out to be more gimmicky than I hoped. He looks kind of silly sitting on Bumblebee's arm - can you imagine going into battle like that? And when he's in the perch behind BB's back, you can hardly see him.
But Bumblebee himself is pure win. He's Alternator size, he's big and chunky, and he's heavy. He doesn't have a lot of little delicate panels and intricate little gears; he's mostly big solid pieces with really tight joints. And his transformation is surprisingly simple; not at all as complex as the Alternators I've seen. In fact, it might even be simpler than Deluxe BB's transformation. It's really nice. His head sculpt is awesome, way better than Deluxe's head, and the fold-down battle visor is a nice touch, although it's pretty flimsy. And speaking of comparisons to Deluxe, he is much bigger.
The worst thing about it is that the seats for Sam to sit in are permanently fixed to BB's upper arms, and they look kibbly and get in the way. It would have been nice if they were detachable.
The most annoying thing is that his tilting chest panels are spring-loaded and they love to snap back into place when you're trying to get them to stay tilted for robot mode. Once you've got them tilted, you can't touch them or breathe on them.
All in all, the BB figure is great, but the implementation of the Sam figure is kind of weak.

Sam is also slightly too big for the delux but looks quite good standing with delux BB.

Cyberjet #7 wrote:Anybody finding these at retail yet? Aside from K-Mart throwing them out, I haven't read anything on them hitting any of the big three.
And I know online stores are already sending them out, so I wonder what gives?

I like my figures close in size relation.

? I saved mine, and it still looks like fairly new. The inner part slides right out of the outer sleeve.

Cyberjet #7 wrote:So, is everyone finding these in TRU stores?
A couple people mentioned finding them, but not what location they were found at. I know HA:BB is available online, but I want to look for one with good paint.
