That would be awesome but there's no news about it.

Actually, I thought I read that we are. He's supposed to be packed with Sgt. Lennox, since they're buddies or something. They hang out and shoot stuff.

I got HA Bumblebee yesterday. My impressions:

Either Sam isn't to scale, or he's a Hobbit. They made the figure too small.

That's OK, though, because the human figure turns out to be more gimmicky than I hoped. He looks kind of silly sitting on Bumblebee's arm - can you imagine going into battle like that? And when he's in the perch behind BB's back, you can hardly see him.

But Bumblebee himself is pure win. He's Alternator size, he's big and chunky, and he's heavy. He doesn't have a lot of little delicate panels and intricate little gears; he's mostly big solid pieces with really tight joints. And his transformation is surprisingly simple; not at all as complex as the Alternators I've seen. In fact, it might even be simpler than Deluxe BB's transformation. It's really nice. His head sculpt is awesome, way better than Deluxe's head, and the fold-down battle visor is a nice touch, although it's pretty flimsy. And speaking of comparisons to Deluxe, he is much bigger.

The worst thing about it is that the seats for Sam to sit in are permanently fixed to BB's upper arms, and they look kibbly and get in the way. It would have been nice if they were detachable.

The most annoying thing is that his tilting chest panels are spring-loaded and they love to snap back into place when you're trying to get them to stay tilted for robot mode. Once you've got them tilted, you can't touch them or breathe on them.

All in all, the BB figure is great, but the implementation of the Sam figure is kind of weak.

I mostly agree with you, but not about the seats - they represent the big yellow things on his arms. I'll repaint him one day and they'll look better.

Sam is also slightly too big for the delux but looks quite good standing with delux BB.

I think Sam looks much better next to the Deluxe cars. If Shia was like 6'3", it would be perfectly to scale with the Deluxes. But next to HA BB, he looks like he'd be about 5 feet tall, 100 lbs.

Anybody finding these at retail yet? Aside from K-Mart throwing them out, I haven't read anything on them hitting any of the big three.

And I know online stores are already sending them out, so I wonder what gives?

Yeah, I'm wondering that myself. I'm more excited for Skids, but I'm gonna grab all 4.

I have Bumblebee and will definitly be getting the others. Very good size, complex but not hard transformation and great articulation make this an amazing figure. It looks great next to Alt, Binaltech and Masterpiece (see the pics). Sam is a bit small but he does fit inside Bumblebee and is the right size to fit in Alt/Binal figures. Really looking forward to more from this line. Would love a Human Alliance Optimus Prime with Lennox.

I got mine today at Toys r us. $35 was kinda steep but I don't regret buying him.

I really like the figure. But it kinda stinks that you can't really save the box.

Sam is definitely not in scale with the car however, and both the seats and rocker panels kinda get in the way of posing the arms.

I got BB today and he's pretty cool, except his head keeps popping off. His battle mask gimmick is pretty lame, it barely hangs on and it protrudes a lot.

I do hope they make more, I'd love Barricade, Jazz, and Ironhide. But why is Mikaela with Skids? Simmons drove him at one point in the movie shouldn't he be the human in the set?

Why not? I saved mine and didn't damage it during opening.

The head can get knocked off pretty easily but I find the mask virtualy unnoticable when it's up and doesn't come off easily.

I love my HA Bumblebee. To me it's the one must-have figure from the ROTF line. It's unique and beautiful.

HABB's head comes up to Leader Prime's ribcage area. I think the scaling is pretty good for both modes. Prime still towers over him and is much wider. They look awesome standing next to each other. The Sam figure doesn't even reach Prime's knee caps.

The seats on the arms take getting used too, but BB is so poseable that it's not a big deal. HABB's weapons make him look bad ass. I like the flip up shoulder cannon. I love the head sculpt on HABB. The sliding battle mask is a nice touch.

I'm going to get the Mikaela/Skids/Arcee HA and the Ironhide. Not sure about the Sideswipe. I'll have to see it first. I'm going to pass on Barricade. I'll stick with my Deluxe Barricade/Frenzy from '07.

Toys R Us has the HABB for $34.99. You can find it for $29.99 in some spots. Pricy, but worth $30 bucks.

So, is everyone finding these in TRU stores?

A couple people mentioned finding them, but not what location they were found at. I know HA:BB is available online, but I want to look for one with good paint.

Picked one of these up today at TRU, didn't realize he was so pricey till the cashier rung him up. Almost $38.00 with tax, seems a little high for a figure that's basically Alternator size considering they were only $20.00.

That's steep! But, apart from the lack of detail in the car interior he pisses all over the Alternators imo. And he's quite a bit taller.

HA Bumblebee Awesome!

Well, just dropped $37+ some after tax on human alliance Bumblebee. At first I thought it was an insane price to pay... but then I opened, I transformed him and wow! Worth even dime. He is more movie accurate in my opinion than the deluxe as some have commented and his scale, AWESOME. He looks so freak'n good standing beside leader class Optimus I stared for hours. Fantastic detail I love it. Wonderful transformation he is kick butt. If you see him do not hesitate, pick him up, even if you think he looks no much bigger than deluxe or voyager, in reality he is bigger or at least equivalent to voyager. At first I felt like I was working with an alternator size, nope he is for sure bigger. Other than Optimus Prime Leader class he is by far one of the best releases of this series so far. :APPLAUSE: Get him- no regrets. I will post pics. later.

I was just look'n at seibertron's gallery of HA BB and saw he had him posed with Leader Prime of the first movie. One must see him with Leader Prime from ROTF. Also he has Sam posed without the shoulder cannon that pops up on Bumblebee's right shoulder. I thought that was a cool feature, I wonder why seibertron did not feature it all in his gallery?

I hated paying $35 for this from TRU.

But, when I got to play with him I believe he was worth it. In fact, I am considering getting another for MISB/alt mode display.

I have to agree, this figure has merits, although I still love Alternators, I really like this size figure, and the weaponry is really very nice.

I enjoy the Sam figure. He is many jointed. I have him in this jumping out of Bumblebee's hand to safety pose, as BBee is posed with his gun to shoot oncomers.

I wonder if MASK figures would work with this? I think BBee's car mode is just a tad smaller than a MASK vehicle of similar car class size, but I think the figures are close in size. Sam may be a little smaller in that comparison too though.

I am looking forward to getting Sideswipe. Skids...the ONLY reason I want to get him is to have a Mikaela to ride in Bee with Sam.
