First off, i know its a bit early to even think about a fourth movie, i mean the third one just barely came out! I think that they should make a fourth movie, as a continuation of the series, not a reboot. Ive come up w/ some solutions to some of the problems.

1. There are no villians! megatron is dead, and lots of the decepticons were killed!
2. we've had enough of bumblebee, lets get some new characters!
3. Michael bay and Shia LaBouf not returning.
4.We don't need another transformers movie.

Well, for the first problem. early on during filming of tf3 i read that there was supposed to be time travel used in the plot. Well, maybe they could use that for tf4. Say a decepticon wants to bring back megatron, but there is no way he knows to do that. well some how he gets a hold of a time travel device and goes back in time to try and save megatron the multiple times he is killed, and then the whole movie could involve the autobots moving through time in a sort of race to stop the decepticons from doing this. What could be cool about doing time travel is that they could use the g1 designs for the transformers if they went to the eighties or if the time travel got screwed up they could end up going back to the time of the dinosaurs where they discover the exsistance of dinobots. (add on if you have additional ideas!)
2.(and part of 3) they could just have him in for a couple of minutes where him and sam witwicky are chillin in old age somewhere in the country, along w/ carly. They could also bring in a lot of other transformers, such as (and be warned, i don't know many g-1 transformers as i am a fairly recent fan) hotrod, rodimus, (ok thats all i can think of, sorry! )
3. to heck w/ michael bay!( i hate him and the screenwriters for killing of arcee!) a new director would be to the high benifit of tf.
4. we can always use another transformers movie!

PS - Also i forgot to mention... they could also put arcee in this one! along w/ jolt and possibly the twins, but idk, they were kind of annoying.

For right now, I think they should continue with the story. Maybe in ten years from now, do a reboot then. It seems to be the magic number. But this franchise is red hot, and there are still great opportunities to be had.

Villains: I'm sure they'll find some BS reason to resurrect Megatron or Starscream, but if not, here's an opportunity create a real menacing villain we never seen before.

I'm done with the Sam story. Time to move on. I wouldn't mind it gearing towards Epps and Lennox and their families, but I don't mind in the slightest if they decide to create new characters. I'd be all for a young tween girl to be the main character, in the 10is to 14ish range.

I hope they concentrate the budget on producing some great Transformers character development time. We know Optimus and Bumblebee pretty much, but they got something great going on in the little we see of Sideswipe and Dino, love to see them become major focal points in the next movie.

I also like the arc of humans working with the Decepticons, it has potential too!

yeah, i liked in tf3 how there was more involvement w/ the humans, such as dylan and his dad. I also think they definately should focus on character developement, i mean tf2 was terrible w/ that. We saw like 15 seconds of jolt, and like a total of a minute w/ arcee.

Hi guys, 1. this time its not about earths resources it just about revenge they want to destroy all humans.
2. Decpticons know they cant do this on there own so Allie up with a rogue country.
3. you have the story go over three movies
4. new Autobots like Hot rod who can take Bumblebee place.
thats some of my ideas have plenty more thats a start.

I'd introduce 2 new Autobots: A new car for a new kid/teen - imo someone based on Cybertron Override. The other would be an Autobot Chaplain, Peacemaker seems to be the best name I can think of from established lores. For Decepticons, I'd say Inferno and Swindle leading a batch of hapless Decepticon rogues, with Cyclonus and Scourge hovering around in the background.

Points to hit on would be:
- The demoralization of the Autobots following the event of Dark of the Moon, preferably including a casuality list: Jazz, Arcee, Jetfire, Jolt, Skids, Mudflap, Ironhide, and Que
- The hunt for rogue Decepticons
- Introduction of the new kid and car
- Cyclonus and Scourge making promises of salvation to the scattered Decepticons
- The retirement of Bumblebee and passing of the torch to Override, ideally involving a cameo with Shia and Bumblebee having his optics destroyed or something ('cause killing him would be too sad)
- Cyclonus and Scourge recover the corpse of Megatron and his Lieutenants, noting that while they are forever gone, there parts may still be of use

What about something with the Quintessons. I think they could explore the Transformer's past, maybe incorporate the story of the Quintessons as slave traders going across the galaxy and the come to Earth following Optimus Prime's blast message or they trail a couple of Autobots who come to earth etc.

You could even set this 20 to 30 years in the future to write out Sam and any other annoying human characters.

You could really work in the 13 Primes as the liberators and explore the planet of Cybertron even more.

It could also be an opportunity to bring in Wrek-gar and have him voiced by Weird Al for old time's sake.

The risk might be the Quintessons come across as the Borg.
