Got an email from iGear this morning here in EMEA, can't see it posted anywhere else (it may have went to all iGear customers, as I haven't ordered one of these):


"About the PP01S version

Sorry to send this email to you, but we must to let the customers who preordered the PP01S to know, we got the news that the manufacturer just canceled the PP01S order. So this item won't be released again, please contact us for the refund.
We offer 2 ways to solve the refund:
1. Who bought the item within 60 days, we can send the full refund.
2. Who bought the item over 60 days ago, we can send $72 refund, and we will offer $3 discount coupon for your future orders, or you can choice to buy another item to use the $75 you have paid.
Please email us some important infomations to ask for the refund:
1. the order number(at the shop site, you can login and check your history orders to find it out)
2. the transaction ID in PayPal for the order.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience we have caused."

Broken molds, maybe?

I received the same email. I hadn't pre-ordered PP01S yet, but had added it to my cart and was going to this payday. Now looking at the site I see it has been pulled from thier store as well. Looks like I can allocate those funds towards something else TF related. I'm wondering if this is related to Hasbro bringing the hammer down on 3rd parties recently or if it really is just a production issue?

Unless they took down the Seeker mold, I doubt it's Hasbro's doing.

It was Faith Leader with fewer accessories which made it cheaper.

Ah, I see. MP-10 is better anyway. We'll eventually get a Hasbro release without the trailer and it'll be about the same price as PP01S.
