You must not be following the news... HasTak often drop the ball with case distribution domestically and often fail to get the final waves of a toy line into stores. on top of that, their deluxes are looking terrible (save a handful) and are more expensive than ever!
While iGear does take a while to get products released, it is often to make sure quality is up to par. Many of their projects are very complex and require higher quality control checks. I'm looking forward to the pp05 releases and have no reason to believe they wont be released next month.

Wow... Let me rephrase my last statement: I have no reason to believe the final waves of transformers toy lines will make it to stores near me. Examples include but are not limited to: DotM Soundwave/Que, scout class Rumble or Frenzy. No I sound like a transformers fan who feels like he got burned 1 time too many. I have suffered through my share of buying repaints so that my store could bring in the final waves, hell, I've even bought multiples of troop building deluxes like Scourge, Wreck-gar and Junkheap. When it still isn't enough and a figure THAT HAS GONE THROUGH PRODUCTION doesn't even make it to the likes of Hasbrotoyshop.com or the treacherous Transformers Collectors Club store that's when I get frustrated as a consumer. But that frustration leads to a development of patience as a consumer. If I am told a product I ordered will come out later than expected... Well at least it's still coming out.

Wow, those new pics look very nice . It's like Diaclone meets the 21st century.

I'm gonna pass, but only because I'm not a big fan of either character so the asking price is higher than they're worth to me. Still though, if I were a big Iron Hide/Ratchet fan, these would be bought for sure so I can't blame anyone for purchasing them.

Wow, I preordered this so long ago I'd nearly forgotten about it! While I do enjoy Igear's products the lengthy delays on this(and to a lesser extent PP03) can be kinda frustrating. Hopefully the release date doesn't get pushed back again from the end of July, but I certainly won't be holding my breath.

I still dont understand why people are calling this figure "masterpiece" scale. He is the same height as classics Prime. I dont own a masterpiece Prime, but I know he is REALLY tall. This Ironhide probally reaches up tp MP Primes crotch, or maybe his gut at the most. Clearly too short to be MP scale.

Classics Prime seems to come up to MP01's crotch, but then I'm not sure how much smaller MP10 is in comparison to MP01.

But I think you're probably right - the scale of these guys makes them fit into Classics linup better, but they're still too big to comfortably fit in that line either.

It's a little off, but closer than with Classics.

Going by the G1 size chart, I would say PP05 is only about half a head shorter than it should be. That is perfectly acceptable to me. These two will be my Masterpiece Ironhide and Ratchet until Takara realises there are enough repaints to do from the mold to justify them making it.

Yeah, both the bot mode and the alt mode are too off or the classics. Which is a pity.

This was obviously meant to work with their Faith Leader, not any official sizes. But MP-10 is very close to that size, so it works out.

That scale guide is meant to be for the cartoon, right? Hmmm. I do often recall the scale of the cartoon being wholly consistent and in no way dependant on which animation studio was doing the work or how much cocaine they'd been fed to keep them working.

I see your point. But scale on the G1 cartoon was very inconsistant. In my honest opinion, I think he is to small standing next to the MP-10. Ironhide should be at Primes chest level. In the picture you posted, MP-10 makes Ironhide looks almst like a scout class character. And if you make scouts even smaller than an MP Bumblebee would have to transform into an Isetta if you go by alt mode bulk. As far as robot mode scale, I dont think a lieutenant should be face to face with his commanders belly. Just my opinion. Scale is very subjective.

The PP05 release has now been changed again from July 20th to July 30th... I hope it doesn't change anymore...

In other news, I woke up today and water was wet and the sky blue... Even with the release of these supposedly near, you deserve to suffocate if you're holding your breath for making the release date of these things at this point. I'd put the odds at about 40% that these make the 7/30 date...and that's up about 39.9% from the previous odds.

At the beginning of the month they didn't say these would ship on July 20. The said July 20-30.

Well on their Facebook page it gave that 10 day range as I reported on the 4th page of this thread. But I guess we shouldn't have expected them to ship on the earlier date. Still not convinced they will ship on the 30th either.

I sent a polite request for an update on my order today- if I hear anything I will post the info here

got an email back, they said all PP05 orders will ship before august 10th- the email was pretty prompt, I think they are just working hard trying to dig themselves out of a hole
