Just got mine from Kmart.com about 5 minutes ago. Tax and shipping came to $60.05 total for two of them.

Made an awesome haul at Walmart on Rt. 83, Villa Park. The only new stuff they had were thee ROTF Scouts, but I saw a Scalpel w/ a red tag on him that said $4. Got curious, rang up the new ones, and they were $4 too! So I grabbed Brakedown and Sonar.

Also saw the Supertuner Showdown set at $13.50, and gave in and grabbed it after resisting for a long time. At the register, it rang up for $11! That's clean living for ya!

FWIW they also had 3 HA Barricades.

There were four Nebular Starscreams at Crystal Lake KMart this morning. After getting a good look at him, I decided I'm happier with the original version. I was hoping for a neat repaint for this mold, but the chocolate brown killed it for me. They could have picked a much better color for the base.

No Arcees or Ratchets at Crystal Lake TRU. I'm currently trying to find a PS3 Slim, but those are just as hard to find as the Animated Exclusives, it seems like.

I stopped by the Target in Des Plaines and they had some of the new Scout figures (Scattershot, Divebomb, etc..) and three each of Defender Optimus Prime and Mindwipe.

not that i have seen but kmart.com site says they have then in stock i orderded one and they sent me bumblebee instead even though receipt said mudflap

I got it worse than you. I orderd Mudflap from brianstoys.com on 2/21 cause they had it for $29.99 with $4.99 S&H. Cheapest price on the web! Even had an availability date of 2/24. Can't beat it! 2/24 comes, and nothing, the date gets pushed back to 4/15, so I'm hot, but it was still the best price, and only about $2 more than retail would be, but without the headache of the hunt. Then out of nowhere 3/19 it showed it was instock, and the excitement comes back. I even told a few collector frineds of mine about it and they ordered right away, and within 2 hours had shipment notification with next day delivery! Me nothing! Friday comes, and goes, still nothing. So I wait until Monday and call to ask what's up. They tell me the guy who does the preorders was off and didn't fill any orders and it will ship that day. Monday goes by and still nothing. I call Tuesday, and get somebody that knew something, and said he would call me back with an update. He does call back, but only to tell me, they sold out and my order along with other preorders were overlooked and not shipped. I am pissed at this point. To help with the situation he offered to refund the $4.99 S&H, but now I am back waiting for the 4/15 restock date. Meanwhile my friends (all 3 I told) got thier Mudflaps on Saturday 3/20. That us Murphy's Law at its best. Oh and did I mention I am moving 4/10 so MF is going to be fedexed to an empty house!

Short version: a presumed pricing error at my local KMart (Oakton St. in Des Plaines) gave me a ROTF Recon Ironhie for $15!

Long version: went to KMart for Little Ceasar's pizza, and drifted past the TFs. They had the NEST Bumblebee/Soundwave battle packs and ROTF Voyagers next to each other. A little sale price flag on the battle packs showed them on sale for $14.99, down from 23.99, pretty good deal. The tag said "mv2 battle pack". A similar tag under the Voyagers had the same 14.99 price, down from 24.99. This tag only said "battle pack". Could it be, I wondered- Voys for 15 bucks? Scanned one and BAM, 15! So I got another Recon Ironhide for $15. I'll be scavenging him out- my 2 Brawns will get his assortment of weapons, and gray ROTF Ironhide will get the arm cannons, and I'll see if any of his other cool body bits will fit. I might sell his head, or put it on Offroad Ironhide.

What is it with me and KMart lately...? This past Sat. 4/3, they had ROTF Deluxes for 7.99, KMart in Des Plaines. They even had a Dlx Ratchet. Personally, I'm all Delux'd out at the moment on ROTF, waiting on new stuff. FWIW.

Any of you planning on going to this next weekend? I feel like I've been living under a rock or something. I just randomly came across this "event" called Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. I guess it's put on by the folks that do the New York Comic Convention a week after Toy Fair.

Yeah! I've already got my pass for Saturday. It's the first time this con is being put on, and it's already looking to be a hundred times better than the Wizard World show we've had at Rosemont for so long. I can't wait!

Algonquin Walmart looks to have Legends Devastator either coming, or already gone, as there was empty shelf space that had the price tag for Devastator in front. Nothing new at TRU or Target. I'm hoping to find ROTF Lockdown at Target.

Thx for the heads-up on KMart, but the $7 shipping on top of the $5 premium over Target/Walmart kills it for me, it'll be $8 more than in-store retail when it shows up. I can will have to wait.

And I don't get how KMart has this when they suck so bad otherwise? I mean come on: crappy selection and higher prices, what kind of business model is that?

I'm still waiting for HTS to stock it, but I think the EASTER20 shipping code has expired.

I would be very hesitant on waiting if I were you. We're at the end of the line with ROTF. If figures haven't shown up at stores by you, they most likely won't. Power Core Combiners and the "Hunt for the Decepticons" line are scheduled to start showing up around June, according to the latest news reports. If that's true ... what you see at the stores right now is probably going to be it. I doubt Walmart will get Defender Prime or Mindwipe, and I'm starting to question whether or not the FAB Skids and Mudflap 2 pack is going to be released at retail in the States.

I've seen this happen way too many times at the end of a line, and then everyone's always scrambling around on eBay to buy those last few figures from a line.

Huh, guess I better hurry up and find Lockdown and Red Rampage then. That makes sense, now that you mention it; I remember Animated Wreckgar and Atomic Lugnut being really hard to find and they were at the end of that line too.

Yeah, this is a long standing "tradition" that dates back to at least the end of Beast Machines 9 years ago. Blast Punch Optimus Primal, Rattrap and Battle Unicorn were a nightmare to find. Primal and Rattrap were finally released in huge quantities at Kmart stores a few months after RID came out, but those supplies disappeared quickly and demanded top dollar on eBay. The best part is when they did show up at Kmart, they showed up at 50% off. I think I've still got an extra Primal and Rattrap. I found 1 Battle Unicorn in stores and never saw another one ever again. This figure eventually became an online pegsitter at BBTS though later down the road.

I guess that story doesn't really prove my point, because they did eventually show up in stores, but my point is that the last few figures in every series are always a bitch to find. I have a feeling that Rampage and Evac are going to be like that from ROTF, as well as HA Mudflap.

Anyone seen an original Transformers Animated Ratchet (the regular version) at a Kmart or Meijer recently? I just finished doing some comparison photos of the young and old versions of Ratchet and noticed that my original Ratchet's face has a terrible paint job. Wouldn't mind replacing him.

I found a ROTF Brawn, Deulxe Ratchet and Strike Mission Sideswipe at the South Elgin Wal-Mart yesterday. I bought the Brawn and Sideswipe and left the Ratchet I checked two Targets as well (both on Randall Road) and saw nothing new.

BTW, I love ROTF Brawn.
