Found these at one of the Chicago stores, at the Toys R Us on Cicero in Burbank, IL.











There were 3 Masterpiece Grimlocks there as well for those of you hunting for him. Can't believe the price tag they had on him ... $69.99! That was more than I paid for him through toysrus.com a couple of weeks ago (including shipping)!

Each Toys R Us store around here should be getting a case with their next full truck. If you know when the next truck is going to arrive at that store, go there first thing in the morning to check. If they haven't put stock out yet, ask them to check their computers and/or the back for you.

Ironhide is the one to really watch for. He's 3 to a case of 8. Apparently they learned from their mistake with Ratchet and Arcee.

Niles TRU should be getting theirs tomorrow I believe. Highland Park should be getting their truck next Tuesday. Highland Park got a small truck in today, I called first thing but no dice. Bloomingdale is next Tuesday or Wednesday. I can't remember exactly for Bloomingdale.

Overall, I spent about 10 hours driving all over the Chicagoland area yesterday and today to figure out where to buy these damn things and asking lots of questions to employees at the stores to find out when their next trucks will be plus calling around. Probably after gas and my time, I was better off just buying them on eBay but I got them.

If you're not there at 10am or 10:30am, I wouldn't hold out hope finding them later in the day or at night. There are way too many Transformers collectors here in Chicago for you to be able to find them unless you are really working hard to get them for yourself.

I didn't get out that way. I'd recommend going into the store to ask them, but don't ask the cashiers up front, maybe the person at the video game counter or someone that you can find in the aisles. If you have to ask the person up front, and they don't know when the next truck is, ask them to find out. All they have to do is ask on their walkie-talkie.

I was told yesterday that TRU Bloomingdale would get a truck today, but apparently they did not, or they just didn't get Grimlock. TRU Darien, 75th St., is supposed to get 3 Grims tomorrow. I'm going to call in the morning and see if they'll save me one if they actually come in.

In other nes, Target Rosemont finally got their HFTD reset, all the first wave stuff, one HA Jazz, no Battle Blades Prime or Banzai-tron. I bought Scout Hubcap and Legends Ravage, 2 solid figs.

If I can make it out there tomorrow, I'll hit up the Joliet TRU for you guys and let ya'll know if I find anything. Unfortunately I don't have any extra spending cash right now, so if I do find them, I'll stash a couple somewhere and tell ya'll where. If anything I'll probably just hide 'em up top behind the signs or something.

joliet toy r us had mp grimlock out again tonight about 3 of them as of closing time i work right across the street but other than that nothing new as of thursday night and i asked numerous time about the animated and no one had a clue

SCored MAJOR swag this week. The Belvidere Wal Mart had wave 2 of the 2 and 5 pack PCCs, so I scored all of those, as well as the newest SWTF- the Republic Attack Tank. Also scored the Rodimus Minor and Ironhide from the TRU in Rockford. They were out of Ironhide but had three more Rodimus figures on the shelf. No sign of the Grimlocks there.

Both figures are indeed awesome. I am surprised Rodimus does not have the matte (spelling) finish though. He's kinda glossy. I wonder if there will be a variant like Arcee?

The new Target ad has TF delluxes at 9.49. From wha tI've seen they have the 1st-wave HFTD and Gen figs.

I was hoping they'd have Voyagers on sale, looking for Battle Blades Prime.

EDIT- just saw it's only a 50-cent savings, meh.

Got lucky this morning and found the last Rodimus and Ironhide at Algonquin TRU! Surprising, considering they didn't have them last Friday, but I guess it must have come in over the weekend. Really glad I changed my mind about not going by there today. You never know when you'll find 'em!

Stopped by the Bloomingdale TRU on my lunch break and they must have gotten their truck in today. No sign of Rodiums or Ironhide, but they had two Masterpiece Grimlocks on the bottom shelf and they weren't there yesterday. I picked up one and left the other one.

I am jealous! Where did you buy him from and for how much? I was hoping to find one for a BIN of $75 but having no luck yet. The figure was only $48 US at retail so it seems like there's got to be a way to get one for that somehow.

I paid $140 for it to be shipped EMS, from Bodhar2000. Also Deceptigtar is selling them for $100, but his are loose.
