It was over on VanBuren and Clinton, unfortunately it was loose and didn't come with instructions.

That's awesome to just stumble into this great find! If you did find instructions, it'd probably be encrypted or in another out-of-this-world language.

Actually when I put my camera away, he transformed and we went and got some Chicken strips at KFC. He just asked I don't take any pictures when he's in bot mode because Bay gets in a tiff and yells at them.

Target on Irving Pk. Rd in Wood Dale had their HFTD section up, kinda small, tho. They had a single HA Jazz, which I left because it had a scuff on the roof. All the other first-wave stuff too- Seaspray, Nighty-Night Ratchet, yellow Payload, WFC deluxes, etc.

Does anyone know when the release dates are for the HFTD Deluxe Tomahawk and Terradive figures are?

massive score today at joliet toys r us got my grimlock and all of wave 2 pcc's and battle ops bb still 2 grimlock as of closing time tonight cashier told me i was the 5th person in the last hour to buy grimlock and she said is is this rare? lol

That's classic, man!

Target Woodridge had all their Wave 1 HFTD stuff out, including 4 HA Jazz. I bought one, but the other 3 all had small scratches on the roof or hood, so be aware. Also had the new HA Bumblebee w/ the different Sam fig.

Similary, Target Wood Dale had one HAJ yesterday, but he had a large-ish scuff on his roof.

I see some more crackdown on the TFW illinois sightings forum.

On a sightings related note ...

1) Has anyone seen the new Walmart exclusives? They're horrificly colored and I WANT THEM!

2) Rolling Meadows Walmart had Banzaitron and Battle Blades Optimus Prime around 4:15 this afternoon. Go get 'em!

Do you mean the Target exclusives? I saw a couple of each at the Woodridge Target. Don't remember which are the Walmart exclusives.

Nope. I meant the Walmart exclusives. Found them at the Naperville Walmart. There was still a set there around 9:30. It's the Bumblebee w/ Legends Class Grindor set and the Brawl w/ Legends Class Jolt set. All 4 are horribly colored. Bumblebee doesn't even have the dots on his eyes ... just two big blue orbs for eyes now. These colors make the Target exclusives look good.

Speaking of which, there was a set of all 4 of the Target exclusive 2 packs at the Naperville Target as well, across the street from Meijer which had nothing new.

I also drove out to the Aurora Walmart north of the outlet mall. That store didn't have a single new figure. 8 Stalker Scorponoks however.

Actually it wasn't at all because I think I own everything that's out minus the upcoming TRU exclusives Grimlock, TFA Rodimus and TFA Ironhide. I was just stopping at stores hoping to find the wave 2 Power Core Combiners 2 packs.

WOOHOO!!! Managed to grab the last MP Grimlock at Algonquin TRU! No sign of the exclusive Animated figures though.

Congrats! That's awesome that he's showing up. Sure as hell beats the $150 we paid for him when he first came out in Japan.

Yeah, I'm especially pleased because I was halfway considering trying to get one of the Takara versions at the Chicago Comicon coming up in a couple weeks if I didn't find the TRU version by then.

Paid a visit to the Schaumburg TRU, no sign that MP Grimlock has arrived there yet. Since I was in the area, I visited the Schaumburg Target. They finished their reset and have almost identical selection to the TRU, two blocks away. No Target exclusives yet.

Anyone want to bet on the odds that MP Grimlock will be restocked in Algonquin??

I drove up to the Vernon Hills Toys R Us and Wal-Mart for the first time. TRU didn't have anything special ... tons of their ROTF exclusives, no Masterpiece Grimlock. Wal-Mart had nothing really of interest. Nothing really new that you couldn't find elsewhere over the past month. Small selection.

Stopped by my local Wal-Mart in Mount Prospect. Looks like all the good stuff I saw getting put out the other night has been picked through already. Nothing special here either.

my good friend who loves transformers but doesn't do the toys picked up the last MP grimlock in Schaumb. that punk!!! he's second or third transformer he owns.

i'm still looking for a MP grimlock myself but if anyone can assist that'd be excellent.

joliet toy's r us still have 3 mp grimlock as of about an hour ago
