Because I answered someone's question about Seibertron.com in the Illinois sightings thread? I can't read the Illinois sightings thread there any more but I can read the others.

What? Did you get banned from the ILL thread?

Yeah I did. Did I really overstep my bounds there? I swear I do my best not to try to openly recruit you guys there out of respect for Tony and the guys that work really hard on that site. We all have a mutual respect I believe.

I sent a message to my counterpart Tony_Bacala to see if he can look into it since I didn't get a message from anyone. I'm assuming Tim Formas banned me because he's the only one of you that I don't have contact with and if I recall correctly he's the one who Paul butted heads with. I'll see what Tony says when he has a chance to respond.

WOW! Hopefully Tony takes care of things. I've heard some interesting things about the local Mod over there, but really? I saw no harm or foul. I didn't take your comments as trying to steal TFW members, but to get them to post over here as well. All you can say is whatever and just become a full lurker.

I'd be happy to see if I can revive your "Agent 007" account for you and merge the two accounts, or at least delete the old one so you can have your proper username, unless you'd just prefer to have the Nightwing2617 account. LMK!

Which Target do you work at?

Thanks for keeping us posted about HA Jazz. It's an awesome figure. I'm working on his gallery for the site right now.

BTW Ryan, I do like the alternating light/dark on the formus now. Very easy to flip through quickly. You continue to do a great job on the site for us fans and I wish to thank you for it once again...(raises his glass of the Glenlivet in a salutatory toast)

I'll be downtown for the TF3 shoot (actually, my VAN will be there, I'll just be along for the ride- see my post in the Movie forum), so I'll prob check out the TRU on Western, maybe the Target on Broadway and the one on Peterson. Need HA Jazz but bad. If I strike out there, I might head up to Glenview to 007's Target- will there be any out yet, or just in back?

Hey guys, I'm playing with a band now in the Chicago area...would love to have everyone come out next time we play so I can meet everyone (and maybe even buy drinks for everyone)...is anyone else interested? I can post dates here if you are...(we're not playing too often because I'm playing with two other bands in the Rockford area...us keyboard players are soooo hard to find...)

Pretty good chance. THe group is called The Atari Age. Straight up 80's tribute. Which means, in addition to doing the usual keyboard stuff (mainly covering up for the countless mistakes made by the bass and guitar players...that is what keyboard players do, after all), I have a ton of melody to cover. The group is based in Vernon Hills...we're trying to get into the Tilted Kilt in Elgin (nice views, btw) so we'll be in that direction most of the time.

Thanks for the tips. I'm good without him for the time being. I have 1 loose one left, was just hoping to get some picks of one MISB for the galleries. I love this repaint for some reason. I think I just really like the mold. Bludgeon was one of my favorites as well.

I've got the Voyager Prime as well. Working on his gallery later today.

marshall dusty wrote:also, which one is HFTD HA Bumblebee ? do you mean battle blades and not human alliance?

HFTD HA Bumblebee is the same toy as the ROTF HA version, but Sam Witwicky has different paint apps. Not a big deal, but I'd like to get it since I'm working on the Human Alliance Jazz gallery right now.

Also are the forums a little easier for you to read now that I darkened the background on one of the alternating posts and added the little Autobot and Decepticon dividers?

ah i see, i didn't realize there was a variant. so this HA BB, the box is using HTFD box art? or same box and just a matter of having a keen eye and picking it out?

yes, huge improvement overall on reading on the forums and the dividers help as well! thanks.

sorry for the post, figuring out the multiple quote thing here.

Seibertron wrote:Going by a tip from TFW, I was able to get HFTD Human Alliance Bumblebee (which has the Sam Witwicky variant I wanted) from the HIP Target. I also needed a new HA Jazz because two pegs on the one I got earlier this week from Walmart.com were snapped off. Really frustrating to transform a brand new figure and discover this. I'm going to return the one to Wally world. That's at least my 3rd Transformer in the past year with broken or missing parts. I've held onto the others but enough is enough. The other two were HA Sideswipe (his "battle mask" snapped off the 1st time I transformed him) and the ROTF battleship scout was missing part of his leg. I never returned them because I hate returning stuff but I'm done having this happen to me.

Sadly, the "repackager" has oddly already struck the HIP. There was a silver concept Corvette (just a regular toy that's about the size of a deluxe figure) packaged in a HA Jazz box. I don't understand how someone could've already bought a brand new figure that just started showing up in stores during the past couple of days, swapped it, returned it, and it's already out on the shelf with the first sighting at that store. I wish they'd catch this guy or these guys. I hate seeing someone do that - it screws over the store and/or an unfortunate customer if a parent doesn't know better. Whoever's doing that has to have a mental disorder of some sort or a screwed up conscience.

HIP Target also had the other stuff that Target has had, minus the Target exclusive 2 packs. No wave 2 stuff yet.

wow, that's so annoying, damn them. also, my last question still stands for HFTD HA BB, is there new box art, or having an eye to see sam with alternate paint apps?

Check your private messages when you get a chance. I sent one to you regarding your account.

As for HA BB ... here're two teaser pics from the new Sam Witwicky gallery that should be posted in the next 24 to 48 hours. I'm pretty sure the Sam pictures are all new on the packaging but I think the pictures of the figure on the front and back are the same as the ROTF packaging.

I returned the broken HA Jazz to the Mount Prospect Walmart. I couldn't believe the lady was giving me a hard time about it. "Where is it broken?" she asked. "Well, I don't see anything wrong with it." Isn't Walmart supposed to be like the easiest place in the world to return things? Man I hate returning stuff too ... it makes me feel weird. I put a hand written note that was clearly visible inside of the box that says "This item is broken and has been returned" to help make sure it doesn't go back out on the shelf. On top of that they wouldn't refund the shipping charge which irked me. I could see not refunding the shipping charge on an item I was just returning but not on a defective item which was broken in two places.

Watch those pegs on your Jazz figure folks. I don't know if mine was a fluke or if it was already broken from the factory.

Doh! Yeah that was for Agent 007 / Nightwing.

There are two pegs that were broken on mine

1) One of the ones that are on his feet that the Humans hold onto. This one had to be busted from the factory. I folded down his foot and it was already missing.

2) The peg that connects to the bottom of the panel near the front wheels, which form his upper arms in robot mode.

Actually the original is too big for the car. He barely used to fit. His neck actually "transforms" so that he can fit. The new one fits just fine without having to adjust his neck.

Anybody by way on the south side of town come across the new voyager prime, let me know. I'm looking for it. I have an extra seaspray MISB, I can either trade, or if you just stash it in the store (preferably TRU) I can do an even exchange.

I'm working on Voyager Prime's gallery right this moment. Pretty cool figure. Truck mode is smaller than the last Voyager Prime. Very interesting!

I actually meant standing next to Bee, in alt or robor mode, original Sam was too short. I've never had trouble getting him to sit inside.
