Hip-Hoptimus Rime wrote:Target Rosemont had their exclusive Sunstorm/Ratchet and Purple Shcokwave/Bumblebee sets, $24.99. Damn tempting, I like the Animated jet mold, and I wouldn't mind Activators Ratch, but I'm holding out for a Thundercracker repaint. They're on an end cap FWIW. Also had several Jetstorm/Jetfire sets.

The Target store in Normal have the Sunstorm/Ratchet and Shockwave/Bumblebee sets too. I thought about it, but ended up skipping. I anticipate these being around for a while....maybe pick 'em up on sale down the road.

WalMart on State St in Rockford has a half dozen of each, at least.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Target in Woodridge, 63rd St., had the amazing deal on Animated Sunstorm/Ratchet and purple Shockwave/Bumblebee 2-packs, $4.99!! Apparently some new sale price, they are on an end cap in the main aisle. There's no prioce overhead, but small "Sale" signs on each shelf.

They had several Sunstorms, but only 3 Shockwaves, one of each of which I bought. $10.75 out the door, can't beat it. Yay unexplained sale prices!

They also had Mighty Muggs Grimlock and Starscream, in addition to the previous Bumblebee, Megatron, and Soundwave issues (no Prime) for $7.99. Almost bit, that Starscream looks cool w/ his clip-on wings.

EDIT- also 2 Wreck-Gars!

ATTENTION AGENT 007!

Universe Hot Shot spotted at TRU near Golf Mill this very morning, only 2 of them. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go buy him. If you are caught, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

Good luck 007.

Ha, that's awesome! Wish I'd taped it.

I got Samurai Prowl and Waspinator for $7.88 each at Walmart in Glen Ellyn, Rt. 53 and Butterfield Rd. They were on the side of an end cap w/ a sign that said $7.88, but the rest of the Animated Dlxs were in the usual spot marked $12.88- maybe they were in the process of changing the prices. *shrug*

Whole slew of ROTF figures are starting to pop up. Hit or miss whether or not you'll be able to purchase them at your local Walmart. I recommend using the self-checkouts so that you can scan a deluxe or voyager from another TF line multiple times for the ROTF figures that you are attempting to purchase. Otherwise the Walmart computers won't let you purchase them yet.

I added a new feature when I upgraded the site that will let you view the most recent sightings by state now ...

Sounds like I was there at the right time. I didn't hide any figures ... not my thing to do. I like the whole idea of first come first serve - that idea suits both kids and scalpers, whatever your flavor. Glad you found a Sideswipe. Did you see the Legends figures there still? I thought about ringing up a Robot Heroes pack for each of the Legends but figured I'd just be throwing away money just to have a figure a couple of weeks earlier than the official release date. Not worth it for Legends Class figures.

Been on the dry side for a good while here...rather aggravating if I do say so.
