“He’s comprised of 16 individual assets,” said Sumner. “He has a head, a body, but he also has five arms, three legs and a tail, a lot of which you don’t necessarily gain on an initial viewing.”
Ultimately, the driller’s menacing combination of spinning rotator blades, knives and teeth make short work of the skyscraper.

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!
LOST Cybertronian wrote:If you were like many other people watching Dark Of The Moon, then you were mesmerized by the pure destruction and devastation the movie brought to Chicago. Visual effects supervisor Scott Farrar and Digital Production Supervisor Nigel Sumner talk about the complexities of those scenes. Yeah, I agree, that was totally off topic, and way too many Transformers. Lets keep it small, but good, 5 to 8 bots on each side.
But back to topic, am I the only one that just sees the driller as eating up too much of the budget that could have been used on a good ass kicking between Optimus and Shockwave, or seeing a good fight in Chicago between Sideswipe/Dino against Soundwave and Barricade or some other prominent Decepticon. I don't know, maybe having this knowledge in the back of my head kind of derails the whole "driller is awesome" from my conscience.
