Have they made ANY good Star Wars crossover's? I can't recall a single one that was good enough for even a kitbash. I agree with an earlier posted statement, either make these good or stop all together. Better to drop the series altogether and recreate the entire G1 catalog, Classics style.

Actually the first General Grievous mold was very good. I also am fond of the XWing fighter mold. I do have all of them (excluding repaints) and agree they aren't as good as normal TFs. however I also will always point out that- unlike Transformers- the designers do not have the luxury of tweaking the vehicle modes to fit in better bot modes. The vehicles are already designed and popular, so changing them could potentially rile the avid-and-much-moodier Star Wars fan base. The thing that makes these sell so well is the size: kids want the vehicles; parents see the full size vehicle price and go "Gak!" They see the smaller-yet-still-accurate SWTF and think, "Hmmm...same vehicle, plus there's a robot mode! And it's CHEAPER! I'll buy it!" And the kids are still happy because they still got the vehicle they wanted AND it transforms into a cool robot of a character they are familiar with.

That's my theory anyways. So I will give Hasbro kudos for trying and making due with what they have available.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...

Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Very well thought-out theory! I have most of the Star Wars Transformers myself; I think my favourites are Darth Maul/Sith Infiltrator, Darth Vader/Death Star and Fett/Slave I!

Obviously since the advent of The Clone Wars, the recent ones have all come from the show, which did knock the original line geared towards the films...I think now they're starting to retry vehicles and mechs from the films again.

Maybe with the release of Episode I in 3D next year, there may be other new film-inspired ones (to be honest, I want a Naboo Starfighter TF! Haha)

I've been compiling a scale list (largest to smallest) of the Film Transformers based on; vehicle/alternate modes (with the best dimension data possible), as many official charts I could find & most crucially, the figures I actually own & desire! If anyone would like a bit of assistance in scale or would simply like a peek at the list, do say so! ^^

(Also been working on something big; I'm a writer, so that's a clue... ;))
