Revenge of the Fallen director, Michael Bay, was recently asked about some of the specifics about the IMAX version. He stated that the run time of ROTF is 2 hours and 20 minutes. The IMAX version includes about an extra minute of footage which will allow us to enjoy some fighting scenes a little bit longer as well as some extra time with Devastator. Bay also stated that he hadn't seen his film in IMAX yet since it was finished on June 13th.

2 hours 20 minutes = 120 minutes + 20 minutes = 140 minutes.

Beofre, it was said that the regular, non-IMAXversion of the movie was 147 minutes.

147 minutes > 140 minutes

What's the deal with that?

I've seen both versions and they're exactly the same to me???I didn't notice any extra scenes in it???what gives?

I'm just thinking now,is the scene with simmons and devastators scrotum in the normal version???

so its pretty much the same length as the first movie....so what's all this talk i've seen saying it was well over 2hrs 30 and some implying it leaned close to 3 hours?

and yeah..a whole extra minute for the IMAX, figured it be something so small. would have been cool if it was a good 10-20mins more but they'll probably save that for an eventual "megatron's cut" or something.
