I would prefer not to link to our competitor's sites but if they are the original source of the content than we have to because that's good internet karma. The original source providing images or other information should always be properly credited because that's what's fair to do to the person or website that provided the content originally.
I'm not a fan of linking to our competitor's websites when it's obvious that they weren't the original source either and would prefer that people help us find THE original source.
In this case, since it was one of TFW's members that found them and photographed the toys with his receipt, we should link to the original post and provide the user with proper credit.

I really hope the other two Insecticons get made in this scale.

Really though, after seeing Skrapnel next to Shrapnel it looks like a very nice update.
Here's also hoping Reflector gets to be 3 bots again someday.

Skrapnel looks pretty great. I don't like the flames on Tail-thingy but other than that, he looks great. It's not like he's going to be in alt mode anyway, he's too old to transform.

That tailgate will be such a place holder for the windcharger repaint everbody really wanted. Hopefully funpub churns it out one day. Shrapnel is nice but deserves a deluxe figure. Hasbro is a little late, FP filled the void 2 years ago.

I guess there are only so many ways to do a Targetmaster-y gun, so it's probably a coincidence, but Reflector ended up looking like an amalgam of Spinister's Nebulans, Singe and Hairplitter. Doesn't he also have a camera mode that just didn't get photographed?
And new-Tailgate looks nice, compared to old-yeller next to him. Last time I had a Tailgate in that kind of shape, I boiled him in black dye to make a Wipe-Out.

Also, it's nice that both of these appear to have a head swivel. The one thing I really dislike about Starscream & BB from the new Legends line is there stupid, stationary heads.

These are great molds, and I look forward to adding them to my Neo G1 lineup. The only problem I see here is the copious lack of paint. Those pincers on Shrapnel look horrific in that bland white-gray plastic, not to mention the fact that they left his face unpainted.
Tailgate also has a great mold, but a lot of the detail is washed out by the color scheme, which is made more apparent when he's next to his G1 predecessor.
Maybe Takomy will fix this on their version.

Here I mentioned Wipe-Out, but hadn't really considered the consequences of repainting the new guy into him. (Well, dye in my case; I've always had better luck with it cuz' Rit don't chip)
No wonder those cancellation rumors had so many of us panicked.
And yeah, repainting the RTS Windcharger mold into Blackjack would be worth a shot...if every version of him wasn't so scarce and expensive. If it was done officially, he could be packed with the proper Detour repaint that ROTF scout Dead End deserves.

Not a fan of the flames on Tailgate nor the fact that I can't decide if that mold is the love child of the Prime BH Cyberverse 'Bee and Wheeljack figures or not. Both facts annoy me greatly but not so much that I'll pass on the figure. Consider Tailgate and Skrapnel "bought on site".
That is, of course, provided I can find the damn things. I'm not holding out much hope for that. All the stores in my area stock exactly two things: Jack and Sh**, both of which are Prime BH peg warmers and look remarkably like Bumblebee.

ive been very underwelmed by shrapnel since the first pics surfaced. he looks flat. no detailing and minimal paint. ill still buy him though... cheap and he might surprise me in hand.
i dont know why everyones calling for a new windcharger? rts/united was awesome! and blackjack? thats pretty much who the united windcharger was packed with. (wipeout i know, but colors match!)
