That was a shot taken during filming in downtown LA - that's Bay there beside the truck...

The tow-truck we see in the trailer...

and the two-truck that happens to be Longarm's alt mode...

hmmm...

I really only care about that new Jazz, can't wait to see a better pic of him.

Arcee still looks like a Decepticon to me, even more so than the other Decepticons there. It's making me wish I had more money to buy toys with now. lol.

I've never even heard of Payload before. I know I'm not the only one either. What's his gimmick... sorry, Alt mode?

so all these toys of characters not in the movie.....are they "rejected" characters or designs or are they simply an excuse to make the toyline bigger since the movie only features 13 transformers?

Some are going to be exclusive to the video game some only appeared in the comic and others are just there to flesh out the line.

Hope my finances can stand to get these guys...gotta at least get Bumblebee(my fav) and that sweet lookin Longarm!

With Skowl's picture, I could actually see these non movie figures appearing in the sequel. They are already there, and the rest of the bots and cons don't even realize it.

I'll have to wait for out of package pics to pass judgement on these figures.

I'm guessing that unless they seriously shortpack them there are going to be a ton of 'drones' warming the shelves in a few months. Older collectors might like the idea, but the younger ones aren't going to go out and spend their pocket money on an action figure with a big empty circle for a face. What was Hasbro thinking? They could have at least given them a secondary face like the early Beast Wars gimmick.

Plus, he gives off more of a Kup vibe.

Since when did Hoist become a character in the Movieverse? Why should someone photoshop Longarm into G1 Hoist? Simple, they share similiar vehicle modes. Heck, why not photoshop this guy into Trailbreaker as well since Hoist and Trailbreaker have the same molds with different head sculps and accesories. Course someone could buy Longarm and I hope switch heads with Swindle and poof! he's a Decepticon.

Thank you! Now I have to buy him. He's in the movie, in one form or another. Which is good, then the "I'll drive, you shoot!" thing can be re-enacted. Damn right!

Longarm is cool. =) A must buy. And, yes, I would love a repaint as Hoist. Heck, if the tow arm can easily pop off and on, I could take the arm off and call this guy Gears. I'm not one of those obsessive types that needs every detail of a new figure to perfectly mirror a G1 character. Its a truck, but not Ironhide, so that's good enough for me.

Final Battle Jazz: Granted, this pic isn't very clear, but it really doesn't look that different from wave 1 Jazz.

Payload is interesting. I don't like the drone head, but the rest of the figure looks okay, so I think I would actually buy this guy.

Wonder if this is just one of those little hidden things, or perhaps something different altogether....

Chances are Hasbro picked up on the internet Rhumours that were flying around back when the movie was being Filmed. Remember the ones about a certain Tow Truck appearing around the lot a fair bit and 'who' this might mave been.
U gotta think theres some exec out there thinking he's being devious by planting seeds of new rhumours by making this models Paintjob match the movie Trucks.

Maybe there'll be a scene depicted in the movie game or comic book where the Allspark turns that two truck into a sentient being.

Also, Longarm really doesn't look anything like his in-game counterpart. I know it's difficult for them to make the toys look like the rendered versions because they're so complex but this guy's not even close aside from the colors:

Those shoulder pads remind me of the Movie Starscream toy.

Cause the Autobot Dreadwing looks cool.

A green repaint of Longarm will make a nice Hoist.

Oh, Dreadwing is a Decepticon.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw this guy. Now I just need an in-scale Megan Fox and a Bumblebee with no legs and I can re-enact it too

On that note, is it me that thinks it a little weird Hasbro haven't released any humans? I know the whole point of the line is transforming robots, but the motto is 'robots in disguise'. Disguise from who? 'Their war, our world', we've got the "their", where's the "our"? Look back on previous toylines (albeit from other manufacturers) like Jurassic Park and they always included humans.

Until they release some I'm using some really small standees of Spike and Michael Bay from Matt Moylan's "Lil Formers" line. Looks hilarious. Bay's filming Jazz getting stabbed in the chassis by Wreckage. Pics later, camera's not here.
