i preordered him as the three pack on BBTS. So I gotta wait longer for my wheejack and thundercracker to come with him. But completely worth it considering i am guaranteed to get all 3 and I can also FINALLY ship my POL XD

Gotta agree with on you that. Especially considering how awesome he looked in LSOTW! I just hope they don't go with some obscure Micromaster or gobot or some other unwanted character. I could go with a Quake, even though some of the colors are similar.

oh yeah..thats the hotness...i wonder why he's pre-order priced at $24.99 on bbts when the rest of his class size are around $14? I mean he is that awesome but could this be the hard to obtain figure of the generations line ? (LoL aisde from all of the other generations figs being in high demand )

We had HFTD Bludgeon.

I still think we're in with a retool into Bludgeon again, though.

Why not? Bludgeon is a big fan favorite, and the kids will be aware of him.

If I were Hasbro, I'd be weary of making it Brawl, over the fan rage of "ITS NOT BRUTICUS".

As for Guzzle....the thing I'm thinking of here, is that he's got almost the same head.

He could be like Cyclonus and not get a retool, though.

Cyclonus was repainted several times. Universe, Henkei, Battle in Space, Shatterred Glass, and the exclusive ehobby 3 pack, also I believe a japanese credit card company made him strafe from the technobots. My point is, he will be reused, like you said, maybe not a reTOOL, but certainly reissued.

As far as Brawl being a no, fan is rage is normally at the bottom of their concerns.

BBTS says that he is the one new figure in the assortment and they have to price accordingly. It's the same reason they priced Windcharger at $18.99.

I love the body, but I'm not sold on the head at all. Until I see it in my hands it looks off to me. I think it's the rounded mouth plate. Looks too much like Razorbeast for me.

An easy repaint for Warpath is Sparkcrusher. I think a good remould idea would be either Fortress or Overlord. Both of them have a tonne of weapons NEAR the chest that stick out and are both "tanks" in their own rights. I think with a well applied paint map it could look killer.

It's a good looking figure, and I'll probably get it but I felt like the Legends/Henkei was fine as an updated Warpath while there are dozens of characters that could have benefitted from a Generations Deluxe release. Where are the Chromedomes, the Dinobots (aside from Grimlock), the Blitzwings? All of those guys should have been higher up the list than another Warpath.

Boring and mediocre looking. The robot mode is ok but just seems pretty bland and somewhat too cartoon-like in proportions and the tank mode is just a joke. I kinda liked the old G1 toy because he turned into a proper looking tank despite how crap the robot mode was. The four sections of treads just seem like a cop out like many other tank TF's in recent years. RotF Voyager Bludgeon gets it right.

I think his use in WFC may have moved him up the list a bit. Either way, I am glad we are getting him in regular retail.

Good point. Fortress gets shrunk a lot. Especially in the LSOTW, when Overlord tosses (like a bitch) into the crowd of freed decepticon prisoners. Still, expect a huge fan backlash if he was ever made into a deluxe, either of them really.

I wouldnt object to a Gutcruncher at all!!!

Warpaths mold is not suitable for Blitzwing lads.his gun is on his back-Brawl too.
