I've heard of one of these before, but the one I heard of didn't compromise the transformations of either modes of any of the Dinobots.

I just used the word 'of' six times in one sentence.

I think you'd be crazy to pay $200 for that heap.
If he's not restricted himself to keeping the dinos transformable, he should have gone all out to make it look good, and he really hasn't.
I've seen much better versions, some of which transform and still look better than that one.

The carnage, why would you want to maim good Dinobots to produce that monstrosity. I'd take the Energon Mega-Dinobot combiner over this any time, and Mega Dinobot had one of the saddest combination schemes.

That's just sad.

Not bad looking, a deffo A on creativity and imagination, but the price and the fact he's killed off 5 rare and pretty expensive Transformers to build that monstrosity has really put it down

I seem to recall rumors that there was supposed to be a combining set of Dinobots but never actually saw evidence of it back in the G1 days. All my friends at school used to talk about the Autobots having their own combiner team after Devastator came out (little kids lying, who would have thought).

I think the rumor started because in the commercials for Devastator always had the Dinobots pitted against them. I think both the Constructicons and Dinobots came out about the same time so they just got marketed together, besides what's tougher than construction vehicles combining to form one huge robot? A team of Robot Dinosaurs that could do the same, that's what!

I know that they came much later in G1, but might that combining dino team have been Dinoking/Monstructor? From the sounds of it, no, but it just came to mind. I don't know, just asking.

Seeing as how the Dinobots and Devastator were always pitted against each other it would have made sense to have a Dinobot gestalt. A shame they never did.

So, for the benefit of the curious, are there any links to pictures of better Dinobot gestalts? I saw one a year or so ago that was fabulous, but lost the link. Don't think those Dinos were transformable either....
