Is it worth buying KO City/Shadow Commander?

I've been looking for genuine versions of both City/Shadow Commander for a while now and haven't been too successful. All I have been finding are knockoffs. (I don't trust the few I saw on Ebay.) Should I just give up and buy a KO or keep looking for the real thing?

PM me if you have Battle Tanker original head and/or Car Robots Black Convoy sword(pointy version) for sale

if you can get the real thing, then it's good (but hard to find a good price)
for the KO, you need to know the probs. the shoulder and arm is loose. however, it can be solve as easy as slipping a piece of paper between the arm/shoulder and the armor. from where I'm from, the KO is only less than half the price of ori so worth it.
aside from that, it's awesome. here mine

with KO City Commander

hope this help

Before to finally purchase a real one, I got a fake Shadow Commander and it was very cheap as plastic and with loose joints... I suggest you to save some money and get the original one, it's another planet

Those KO's don't look bad but I don't want to deal with them not fitting correctly.

In my opinion you should never buy a KO. Sure they look great, however looks can be deceptive, and its only a matter of time before it breaks- trust me!

About as good as the articulation on the classics prime mold. I mean with these sets their not designed to do off the wall poses. You retain the shoulder articulation and knee articulation. The armor is kind of bulky but it adds a sense of BADASSNESS to the figures..I have the City commander, DIA, TFcon and the Shadow Commander. The latter of which I picked up at Botcon this past year for $125. All are authentic as well..
IMO, I have some of the KO classics primes and there good for parts and thats about it. I reccomend just searching for the original, these sets are amazing and worth every penny..
The hardest one to aquire these days has to be shadow commander..I see him hittin $350 easy on ebay but ya never know...

Yeah I have both the henkei classics prime and then the nemesis prime. I really think the set looks fantastic and want to get the Magnus/Commander set. Knowing that the articulation is mostly unaffected is great though since sometimes even as an adult i do stage my own epic battle scenes.

I have KO one i payed $198 New Zealand dollars for mine im gutted that i couldnt get a genuine one. The only thing mine has wrong with it is the lose shoulders and arms and a slight paint app on the side of the trailer but its not to bad.
my personal opinion is probably best to fing the O.G one it will be worth it in the long run and you know that it will be contructed well

to me, it depends. if you have a budget to get the original set, then by all means, get it.
as for me, I can settle with the KO version, the price was only between 40-45USD

Re: Is it worth buying KO City/Shadow Commander?
This is a little late, but i have the real city commander, D.I.A commander, and a knock off shadow commander.
I think i paid $90 in total for the knock off SC set, a knock off ultra magnus, and shipping.
The shadow commander KO looks exactly like the real thing. The only minor issue is the loose arms, but those can be fixed.
Now that i remember, i bought it off of "Chimungmung" on ebay. The ko commander set was $50 and the shipping was $20
All i suggest is get the real nemesis prime to go under the ko Armor, because i found KO on a KO didnt work well.
$50 +shipping is a heck of alot better than $250+ shipping.
