In the movie, it was hinted at that Megatron is Prime's brother.

Brother in what sense? Just a brother in arms? Do TFs refer to other TFs as brothers and sisters?

Or is there more to this picture?

In reference to the TF video game (I think), it was stated that Megatron killed his and Prime's father.

In an earlier TF draft, Prime refers to Megatron and himself as "twin sons in a dynasty of Primes". Or something like that.

Why would there be twin sons and why would TFs have fathers? Did another TF put Prime and Megs together at the same time, making that TF the father of them?

Or were Prime and Megs born? Do TFs reproduce and have babies? Was Prime born as a tiny baby TF? (A picture of him as a baby would be very interesting to see.) Same with Megatron?

If the latter is the case, how could they be biological brothers, especially if they are fraternal twins? They look so different. Unless they had very different mothers or fathers. (One of Megatron's parents must have been really ugly!)

Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons look like they are a different species than the Autobots. And Jazz looks like he's a cross between a Bot and a Con with those clawed hands and all.

Could Megatron be an adopted brother instead of a biological one? Could Prime's mom and dad have found him as an abandoned infant or young child and raised him along with their own child, Prime?

I think there's a thing about Meg and Prime governing Cybertron together so I think they're just brother's in arms, or in the way black people call each other brother in movies.

In RiD Prime and Magnus are referred to as brothers cos they were built by the same er thing at the same time.

Since the Movie universe clearly labels the AllSpark as the source of all TFs lives, it's a safe bet to say the Cube is in essence the father of all TFs. In that respect, Prime would be as related to Frenzy and Jazz as he apparently is to Megs.

My guess is they were simply good trusted friends for eons and by their rule together grew to respect each other. It wasn't until Megatron and his buddies betrayed the Autobots that they separated their ways. For the everloving and always polite Prime though, Megatron will always be his good ol' buddy who's just misunderstood =D

I think Prime sees Megatron as his former good buddy who made some bad choices in life. Really, what would drive somebody to turn their back on everything they ever knew?

At least in that respect Movie Megatron is closely related to his G1 counterpart. Utterly alone at the top, with no friends =D

They have been examples of that as far back as G1.

Theres examplesa of both TF twins and TF fathers going back as far as G1.

I'll say again.....its been done in TF before.Look to the G2 comics from Marvel.Althou the "New Born" were fully grown body wise.

Your line of questioning here is a bit confusing.I myself have two half brothers and one full brother and none of us look remotely alike.

That could all be the result of self modification for the reasons of "War Fare".

That also possible but I cant see why the writters would want to do that.

Still, being born small would make sense.

It takes less resources to build a small bot than it does to build a large one. Plus it'd make the 'kid' less of a danger to himself and/or others as he learns what he's capable of doing and how to do it.

EDIT: And I know what you're thinking. Programming would make the second issue a moot point, you'd say, right? Not so! There's no substitute for first-hand experience.
