If they do get the trademark(which I really hope they do), it seems logical that Habro/TakaraTomy would release a Movie, Classics/Universe, animated version of him, but there will be no Titanium because the line was unfortanetly discontinued(I want my WW Prowl & Grimlock!) and no encore due to this: http://www.seibertron.com/toys/fullsize ... 1&image=23

A lot of people have seen the un-used Titanium mould and mistaken it for a Classics 2.0/Universe, so maybe that's momentum enough to release in plastique.

I'd really love this but I can't help but doubt it.

As for movie Shockwave, the chances of anything *ahem* new this late in the line is really beyond any stretch of my imagination. Let's face it much as we'd like a new mould for a triple-changing Shockwave, I doubt it will happen.

But then I am liable to bouts of cynicism, in case you haven't noticed.

I hope upon hope for a Universe or Movie Shockwave, but in all probability it is going to be Animated.

Unless...

Shockwave in all his triune glory turns up in A Michael Bay Movie: Transformers 2.

That might not be true. People said the same thing about Sky Lynx and Omega Supreme. And the rumor is that the company that made those two bought the company that made Shockwave.

You can toss the movie out the window even though I would like one myself. Maybe for TF2, but its to early to speculate on anything related to it.

Also, if its Hasbro then its not an encore since that is a TT line.

Narrowing it down to either Universe or Animated, or both (we already got two Prowls, why not two Shockwaves?), Shockwave being a rumored character in Animated, probably animated.

i'd be happy with either of them.. but i have been wanting the shockwave from the game. maybe he'll be in the next movie, maybe scenes with shockwave leading the decepticons on cybertron.. guess we'll wait and see.

I think movie is why this was done. We know Shockwave had a presence in the game and I would think that with Starscream going back to Cybertron, you'd hae Shockwave involved somehow. In terms of Uivers, I think there is a chance as well as Animated. But I think the Copyright issue wouldn't be as pressing for Universe since we've seen them use Shockwave on toys within the last year.

I'll be stunned if this isn't for Animated, since it's already been noted he's slated to put in an appearance.

Universe COULD be a possibility, given that we've already seen an unused mold for him from Titanium. Guess it depends on how strong the call is for that figure, so I can't really judge on that one.

As for the Movie line, that boat's pretty much passed now, unless he's going to show up in the sequel and/or the accompanying toy line.

I'm betting on Animated. We've already got an actor confirmed for doing the voice. There's also the cancelled Titanium, which would be perfect for Universe. The triple-changing Shockwave from the TFTM game would be a cool toy too.

We already know Shockwave is in Animated. He's voiced by Cory Burton. That doesn't mean that Shockwave won't be release in Universe or the new Movie line.

Universe isn't only for new Classic figures, it also has potential for other sub lines. Like the unreleased Titaniums. Mind you they would be in plastic, which would make that line alot better.

Hell, they put that awsome Shockwave in the video game as a triple changer, it would be interesting to see him in the next movie.
