Okay, so I joined Heavy Metal War a few days ago and I was extremely excited to get started... but it seems that whenever I sign on there is no one to battle in the Arena. I figured out that this is because I'm super low level...

Is there anything that I can do to actually get an arena battle or am I crap out of luck? I noticed a couple of higher level fighters poking fun a level one in another thread so I'm a bit afraid of the answers that I will receive when I state that I'm a lowly level zero. Xp

missions are the way to go you'll find more people in there because the arena is broken

I can make Phaze a level 0 if you like.

The arena is currently suffering from a glitch wherein it doesn't show the correct logs. This glitch has been considered minor and gone unfixed because the focus of the game is meant to be in the missions and it serves as a useful tool to get people who might otherwise lurk in the arena into missions alongside their faction-mates.

Best bet for arena-style missions would likely be to find a Tag Team (2-vs-2) mission, though crosslevel missions (0-1, etc) are better for the chances at energon and experience, especially if you manage to land a hit on a higher-level TF.

Don't worry, we're not allowed to eat the level 0 players alive anymore. Appearantly, it runs them off... who knew?

Just wondering about the thread you mention in which higher levels are making fun of a level one... I don't think anybody here could even afford to make fun of new-comers: they are the lifeblood of this game.
In fact, most higher levels around here try to help lower-levelled players, with tips and by sending energon for arms and armor. I guess the only people who might be made fun off are the total freaks who join us now and again on the forum with crazy talk, or else the people who seem to be up for it anyhow and can give as good as they get. So as far as I'm concerned (even though you are probably in the 'Con faction ), best of luck to you.

As was already said: the Arena is bugged, up to the point that peiople don't use it any more. The missions will give you a better chance at finding opposition.

Also, half the fun of the game is in your forum presence. We all enjoy smack talk, but anything at all (except spam and intolerance) is fine really. It's always nice to get a feeling for the person your own characters are coming up against, or who are joining you in your fights. The forum is pretty quiet these last few months, but most people check in now and again.

It was one of the threads like mine where a new person was asking how to play. They weren't teasing him really badly just poking a bit of fun for him being a lower level and an Autobot (which I totally understand). He didn't seem to take any offense though so there was no worries. ^ ^

Yeah I'm trying out the missions now, they're pretty fun. I'll try to get more involved in the forums too since it does sound amusing.

I just keep forgetting about the game, when I log on to the boards, so they just sit there and fester..

I guess I should start poking around the forums, too.

You're a level 0? Goodness I thought from the number of post that you were a super high level. XDD

Oh and nice new icon too! I haven't gotten my Shockwave Kreo yet. They said that it should be here sometime next week. :3

I already waste too much time around here without getting bogged down in the HMW side of it!

I keep an eye on the four bugs, but that's about it really.

Nah I think I'm good with my Shockwave. I don't really collect Autobots anyway (I only have the Optimus Prime Kreo because a friend of mine thought it was funny) XD

I've been trying to put him in missions more often as I am trying to get a guy
from work to play.
What times do you most often play? If we could get times available from people with lvl 0 Bots and Cons we could maybe get people playing at such a low level together and make the missions more, profitable

Also, I sent you some Energon, build more team members and buy some weapons so we can squash these Autobots

Yeah I try to get online around 12 noon EST (now). But it's kind of random when I'm online on the weekends. If we could get a group together to meet around 12 during the week that would be awesome.

It kind of sucks with my schedule... work and all. Xp
