Hi, just looking for a more expert eye on wether or not this is a fake i have looked at a couple of other and have not seen the same one as this ,

Also the blue center arm in base mode has a little nub snaped off, is that arm replaceable ? and the price is £17.50 if it is original is it worth that much with the damage and amount of accessories?.

Last question how many parts missing?.

Here are some pictures.
Thanks for any help.

can't help you IDing a KO, it looks pretty close to the G1 original that I have somewhere. Looks to me like everything is there, but the bit that's snapped off is what plugs the trailer into the cab section. I'd say that's a decent price for it, but if you're really after a PM Prime, see if you can pick up one of the reissues from a few years back, some nice improvements were made (it being based on the Japanese release rather than the rest of the world one) as discussed in the PMP is PIMP thread a wee while back.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

From what I can tell it's the real deal from 1988, which has a couple differences from the reissue. In fact, the reissue is based on the Japanese version of the toy, called Super Ginrai. The differences are:

- the Super Mode arms are a new mold, with retractable fists, on the original they're solid pieces.
- the engine figure is chromed, and unchromed on the original
- the cab has some retooling done, adding die cast. The original has none.
- the Super Mode legs are chromed, again, not on the original

So yeah, you scored a complete vintage original with only the hitch broken off (which is fairly common). Not bad :)
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him :()
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1
- Legacy Core Slug, Sludge & Snarl

Doesn't the cab on the reissue also use clear plastic for the windows, rather than stickers?

For the cab windows, but not the false ones in his chest. That's part of the retooling.

Looks to me to be completely legit, and complete! Only problem is the very common snapped off trailer connector, which can be fixed a number of ways. Sweet find.

It indeed looks like the real deal. As for the broken trailer connector, you can still attach the trailer to the truck if you get a small screw and screw it into the broken part, and inserting the screw head to the cab's hole.

If it is real I'd say the price is good. I'd have expected to pay much more.
